Even though we were already familiar with it, his insights and emphasis on our home’s unique selling points showcased his expertise and gave us confidence in his ability to sell. Within a day, a photographer was arranged. When Ersel arrived, he was polite and unobtrusive, accommodating our requests while also offering thoughtful suggestions. The photos we received for approval truly amazed us. They captured the character and beauty of our home perfectly. Nicola from administration followed up on our requests for the house descriptions before listing, ensuring everything was just right. From the very beginning, James went above and beyond as my real estate agent, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly proactive. He made the entire process of renting out the property seamless and stress-free. James was so impressive that I ended up getting him a bottle of wine as a small thank you, I hope he enjoyed it because he truly earned it! Jane, the administrator, was equally fantastic. She was attentive, efficient, and handled all the booking and paperwork details with such care and precision, it made a world of difference. A special mention also goes to the photographer (whose name I can’t recall, but wish I could!), he was brilliant. Professional, creative, and clearly experienced, he really captured the property beautifully and helped present it in the best possible light. Since the property has been rented, Paul has taken over communication and has been just as professional and responsive, keeping everything running smoothly and giving me great peace of mind. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better team. If you're looking for a real estate agency that combines expertise with genuine care, Durden and Hunt should be your first call.

GoogleI bought a house through Durden & Hunt in September this year. The process was easy and the staff were very helpful. James was the agent and Amanda was the sales progressor. James was very approachable and friendly and we never felt like he was trying to oversell or push us into making a decision, he gave us plenty of time to make decisions and was happy to take us for repeat viewings. Amanda was a fantastic sales progressor, she would chase almost daily (which is a good thing) and I really felt confident that she wanted to get things moved as quickly as possible. In the end I think we managed to get from offer to exchange in about 9 weeks which is pretty good going. I would thoroughly recommend using them in the area as I did not have close to the same sales experience with other larger agents in the area.

Alex Durden is always amazing and contactable, very honest about the market and will guide you to make the right decision whether its to rent or buy/sell. James Gibbons sold our house in Dunmow and got the right price and went above and beyond to get people in the door to view the property. There is no job too big or too small! Highly recommend Durden and Hunt. Very friendly, happy team.

We had accepted an offer within 2 weeks, everything about our experience with James was seamless and so easy. After James had done his work he passed our file over to Amanda who was just as brilliant and helpful. GoogleWe put our house on the market in October 22, between then and March 23 we tried 2 different estate agents and had a grand total of 5 viewings. We called James Gibbon at the Ongar branch of Durden and Hunt and asked his advice as they were selling the house opposite us. They were there that evening to appraise the house and in just over three weeks we had 22 viewings and 2 offers! Not sure how they did it but we cant thank James and his team enough! We complete this week and couldn't be happier!
