We had an incredibly positive experience with Durden and Hunt - Hornchurch during what was a very stressful move. From start to finish, their communication was outstanding, they never once avoided my (often stressed!) phone calls and were always patient, taking the time to clearly explain each step of the process. No matter how busy they were, they always made time to support us, which made a huge difference. Ciara was fantastic right from the beginning, taking control of the viewings and presenting our property beautifully to potential buyers. Her professionalism and enthusiasm really stood out. Ross completely understood what we were looking for in a future home and found us the perfect property in the perfect area, we couldn’t be happier with our new home. Ross and Amanda were absolutely instrumental in pushing our sale through a particularly difficult chain. We genuinely believe that without their persistence and dedication, the move would not have happened. Amanda went above and beyond, it was clear she truly cared, even to the point of losing sleep over the process alongside us. Knowing someone was as invested in our move as we were was incredibly reassuring. We are now very happy in our new home and feel extremely grateful for the commitment, hard work, and genuine care shown by the entire team. We couldn’t have asked for better support throughout this journey.

Specially for contract exchange, things got slightly complicated and Durden & Hunt helped with the process with absolute patience, professionalism, empathy to the circumstances of buyer and seller and fairness in the process. After living in our home for 21 years I didn’t want to sell my home with a ‘sales man pitch’. It’s brought such lovely memories. Ross came to our house to discuss if we went with his team to sell our property what we’d expect. On that day I met 4 other estate agents. We chatted about life, what we expected from our sale and Ross was so normal. Empathetic and not fake about how I felt about selling our home. Not one pushy, rude comment or lie left his mouth (that I could tell). He is just a genuine guy who will sell your home to the right person and he generally knows the right person already. Our purchase actually took 9 months so I now feel like Durden and hunt are my family 🤣. Amanda became my sales progressor and has listened to me moan and shout for months through the stress the move caused me. They’ve both been there for us all the way, listening and finding solutions. They’ve been simply amazing. We also viewed properties along the way with Keira that Daniel organised who are equally as amazing! I won’t be moving any time soon but if and when I do I will only be going with Durden and hunt Hornchurch. On my visit there today the decor is amazing too. A great environment to work. I have recently used Durden and Hunt to sell my property and I must say their service was out of this world. The team really worked hard. It started with a leaflet that was put through my mailbox which I used to make contact. Ross Chimes took the call and came in to value the property and explain the process and managed my expectations well. He listened to my requests and provided options. The Pictures were taken and the house was on the market at the time and date as promised The team that handled the viewings and bookings, Ross, Grace Shepherd and Ciara Clark were superstars. They accommodated the potential buyers requests and made themselves available for viewing while I was in and even when no one was at home. I trusted them with my keys to come and go whenever a request was made. They worked around our availability and showed respect for the times we could not have allowed viewings. Amanda Stark, came into the picture to nicely wrap everything up after the offer was made and accepted for the sale of the property. Amanda pushed through all the bottle necks between the two lawyers and the buyer. She pressed the lawyers for progress updates and she even worked with the estate agent for the property that I am buying to ensure that my purchase was going ahead smoothly.
