TrustpilotResidential Home report
Too expensive for a small one bedroom modem flat. Surveyor was in property and surrounding garden for 30mins. Generally found difficult to get thru to the Falkirk office to speak to someone.
Thank you for your feedback. We trust everything was in order on the final report. Our support team in Falkirk is available within office hours to answer any queries.

TrustpilotHighly recommended
Representative was punctual and very efficient. He carried out the survey with minimal disruption to my day. He checked over the whole house and grounds. He was very polite. His various questions to me regarding the finer details of when any works were carried out were posed in a very friendly positive manner. He put me at ease in what is generally a stressful situation for anyone selling their property. I would have no hesitation in recommending DMHall/ Alan Cunningham.

TrustpilotNo respect from surveyor and his manager
I had a very negative experience with the surveyor allocated and his line manager. There was inadequate communication and the surveyor and his manager were rude and talked over me when I raised my concerns . I am putting my complaint in writing as a paying customer I would like to be treated with some respect . Whilst I appreciate the comment below it does not feel appropriate for DM Hall to allocate a named individual to investigate my complaint . This is because the complaint is partially about the individual .
We're sorry to hear this feedback and hope the matter can be resolved by the local office.

Our request for a survey and Home Report and our questions as to the process were dealt with pleasantly, efficiently and informatively by the office staff. The Surveyor attended promptly the following day and carried out his inspection with a minimum of disturbance to the household. His draft report was duly received allowing the opportunity to make comment or correct inaccuracies where such might have arisen. Generally a very professional response to our requirements.

TrustpilotAn Impressive Service!
I required a presale valuation of my property in Cullen Moray. The firm was recommended by a local law firm. The valuation was duly carried out and I received the report promptly giving me the information required in a clearly laid out format. I was most impressed with the service provided...it was conducted very promptly, the two surveyors were very professional and both were helpful in responding to any questions I had. In all an impressive service!!

The report was prompt and fair but its make up failed to address obvious failings like commenting on things you cannot see - floors where there was carpets with the excuse / reason they were not allowed to see the floor, same with bits they couldn't see - but it didn't stop them saying there could be problems. Felt it covered their back. Didn't give a balanced or straight overview.
We're disappointed to receive a 1* review and this feedback. Any issues can be addressed with the local office.
