GoogleCan't fault any of them. From start to finish they were all spot on. If my property manager wasn't available, There was always someone on hand to answer any questions or help with any issues. Bianca, Amy and Susan are a credit to the company. I would recommend this company to anyone.

GoogleStonehouse letting are probably the best letting agents I have had experience with. They are prompt at getting back to any enquiries. The range of properties they had when we were was varied and within all budgets. The staff are friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend them higher.

GoogleThis is our first flat rented via a letting agency. We always get an answer to any query in a timely manner. There is a smooth communication between us and our landlord and it almost feel like there is no letting agency involved which to me is the top goal for any letting agency. They are also flexible in terms of paperwork and a lot of it can be scanned and sent online. Great letting agency!

GoogleAn incredibly unprofessional agency to deal with. I had lived in the flat for 4 years until I moved away from Aberdeen and throughout the whole period of 4 years there seemed to be no communication between the landlord and the agency. With the landlord being the one managing the property and living overseas everything just went down the slope towards the end of the property. Furthermore, it has been 3 months since I have moved out of the property and 2 since the official end of the lease and we still have not received the deposit. The agent has purposely ignored all of my emails and phone calls, where I only asked for a breakdown of what the money is being taken for (please have in mind that more than half of the deposit is supposedly being kept by them/the landlord). And since it has taken such a long time to resolve this, I was about to give up and accept their proposal and the only thing I was asking for was one replied email. And apparently 3 weeks is not long enough for such a thing. I am really unhappy with this agency and honestly do not advise renting a property from them if you are expecting a smooth and easy tenancy process.

GoogleGreat experience. They personally tailored the flats I viewed to what I wanted and helped me find the perfect one for me. They were also very helpful about letting me view the flats after I had finished work. Once I put an offer in they were helpful in promptly sending me the forms and also answering all my questions I sent them via phone and email. Everything went smoothly and I'd highly recommend them to other people!

GoogleIf you're a student or otherwise first-time renter I would highly advise against leasing through Stonehouse. We had frequent problems with issues such as mould that took far too long to be fixed by Stonehouse. Stonehouse at one point let me know that they considered our landlord (who owned the house) to be stingy and hard to contact. Stonehouse lost our signed inventory packet detailing all of the damages pre-existing before our lease. I could go on, but will refrain. Just make sure to read all of the reviews before leasing. EDIT: As seen below, Stonehouse has reached out to damage control on my review. I can assure any readers that my flatmates and I were previously in contact during our letting, and it wasn't until Lisa Brebner, the Managing Director, got involved that anything was done.

GoogleWe have recently just moved into a flat through the letting agency Stonehouse. Having privately rented for a numerous amount of years, with various different letting agencies, we can comfortably that Stonehouse are superior. During the move in process, Stonehouse were in constant contact keeping us informed. My enquiries were dealt with promptly and effectively. GoogleI had a great experience with Stonehouse. Katherine and Jessica were very helpfull helping me settling down in Aberdeen. The paper work was done promptly and the communication with the owner easily made. Jessica agreed to show me the appartment a second time and that really help me making a decision. Katherine was great at following up with all details and documents needed and manage to answer the hundreds of questions I had. I am still very pleased with my appartment and that is partly down to Stonehouse.

GoogleI'm really surprised to read all of those negative reviews, and I admit that at the beginning it put me off a little bit. However, mine and my flatmate's experience with Stonehouse was great on every stage: from viewing the flat, to singing the lease. We were in contact with 3 separate people in their Aberdeen's office and all of them very extremely nice and very proffessional. We also dealt with other letting agencies in town, and Stonehouse was, by far, the most most professional one.

GoogleI have recently moved into my new rented property with Stonehouse Lettings, and I have found the service to be of very high standard. The staff are very friendly, and polite and Katherine who has been dealing with me has been quick and polite to respond to any emails/ questions that I have had. The process of moving in was very smooth and easy compared to other letting agencies. I would have rated the service to be 5 stars, however, the flat was not arranged to be cleaned when I moved in i.e. there was dog/cat hair everywhere (which I am allergic to). Just one little hiccup, apart from that, it was an efficient/ quick service.

GoogleThe reviews here made me really concerned about check out but having just finished a 9 month tenancy I can say they aren't fully representative. At times a bit frustrating to contact, and there were a few occasions when I had to call back a number of times for cleaning after repair works to the flat however overall not awful. I cleaned and left the flat in a good condition and didn't have any issues getting my deposit back. Lisa was particularly helpful and when I spoke with her, any issues were quickly resolved.

GooglePhoned up and asked for a house in a certain area and a certain style and spoke to a member of staff called Peter Turner who able to find me something within a couple of weeks and were brilliant in the process from first viewings right through to getting the keys. Would highly recommend.

GoogleMy sales process with DJ started on a wrong footing. Initially i had Scott who was dealing with me but without any prior notification i found out he has left the firm. I only found since i called for him and was told. Then another person took over who wasn't too helpful and this started to frustrate me since i was the only one bearing financial loss. Finally my case was handed to Keith Wood who was very responsive and pragmatic. He was always forthcoming in giving me updates - good or bad. He always seemed to have a plan. As a matter of fact, i was ready to take my property of the market and put it back on rent and it was his persuasion to try it for another week that has secured this sale. It was a great experience with Keith. Very customer focussed, personable, always willing to go the extra mile for you. One such example is i was coming in to Edinburgh at midnight on a friday, and i needed to collect the keys with DJ Alexander. He ensured the keys were in the accessible safe and gave me his mobile in case i had problems. The next morning he texted me to find out if all was ok. Thrilled to have him as my sales agent and i was very happy with the experience although it started on the wrong foot with other agents.

GoogleAfter living for 37 years in the same house, we were recommended to approach DJ Alexander Legal to sell our home when the time came to move on. We have not been disappointed. From the time the photographs were taken and the excellent, high quality publicity brochure produced, the viewings conducted by Deirdre and her colleagues, the offer to buy accepted within seven days, the whole process was made very straightforward for us. We now moved on to the Legal Team for the conveyancing part of the transaction and found them to be equally impressive in their conduct of our business. The entire team, from beginning to end, were extremely professional , keeping us informed at every stage of the process. We cannot thank them enough and have no hesitation in recommending this outstanding firm to anyone about to embark on a house sale or purchase. Thank you to everyone, we really appreciated all of your help.

I have been liaising with Sarah McIntyre through the sales process and Sarah has made the process so easy for me. She has provided me with regular and great communication throughout the entire process as well as going that extra mile to help me out with various queries and checks with the property. She has been a pleasure to deal with. My experience with DJ Alexander has been very positive and I was very happy to use them as both a letting Agent and Sales Agent for my property.
