Well, we want to inform to any future tenant " don't rent any flat from DJAlexander". They are the worst letting agency in this country in our opinion. Since last year we are having leaking issue in the flat and the only thing they have been able to say was that they didn't know it was still leaking when they letted the flat ( how it happens if you are an agency). They promised many times to come at put temporaty patches on the roof since is full of the holes and it seems the The maintance company Hackingson & Parterson in Edinburgh are repairing the Sistina chapel in Rome. after one year and half they are still meeting for designing the new roof. Meanwhile DJ Alexander have caused to our life limitation in living decently in the house, scared to go away for a weekend because we don't know if it will rain in the house while we are not there. There is now black mold in the our badroom, mice can enter from the roof and we already had a wee guest two weeks ago. DJ Alexander cleverly suggested to offer us another flat just to try to escape to fix permanenly the flat issue. They promised to meet us face to face this week but it is already 4 days we don;t have news from them. they propose to reduce the rent price of an amount inferior to the damange and frustration and stress we have faced so far, taking in consideration that at the begining of everything they have ignored most of our emails until we had to use social medias to have their attention. We want a compesation of 50% from last year rent plus to reduction of 13,5% of the rent price from now until everything will be repaired. We thought flats in Gilmerton road were in good condition and well mantained. This building is only 20 years old you can't take ages to repairing it. Shame on you!! you should just close the business you and also Hackingson & Parterson that Are just taking money from the owners of the bulding but not coming to do the job. WE WILL ATTACH PROOF OF WHAT WE SAID AND PLEASE DON'T TRY TO REMOVE THE PICTURES PEOPLE HAVE TO KNOW WHO YOU REALLY ARE

NEVER RENT FLAT EITHER BUY with DJAlexander PROPERTY is the most unprofessional and tricking rental agency never existed in Scotland. They let flats that have already big issue such my case of leak problem for six month almost while I pay almost 800 pounds for the rent and 35 pounds for "their" service. they don't answer to your email, they never call you back for update you about the issue BUT THEY GET YOUR MONEY. Maintenance and renting agents are the worst. AT BEGINNING the leak problem was only in the kitchen; then workers came to "repair" and the leaks spread in the corridor' ceiling , later on the made change the roof of the building where each owner of the flat paid around 300 pounds for repairing something that at the end it wasn't. few weeks later leak moved to the utility room and bathroom. THOSE ARE THE PICTURES IN MY FLAT, LIVING WITH BUCKETS EVERYWHERE IN THE FLAT. this started in April and we are in October, you are not shamed of the agency you are! Shame on you!!! you are always quick to answer when it is about to get your money for closing the contract but then you just disappear!! Shame on you!!!

Natasha, i have contacted you separately about this. Just to confirm that the issue relates to an ongoing issue with the roof which is being addressed by the factor, D.J. Alexander and your landlord have no means of actioning any works to the building, as confirmed this is the responsibility of Hacking and Paterson. We have escalated with them and they have confirmed that further work will be undertaken to the roof (subject to weather). We have a Property Manager attending the property today and we have made firm commitments on the actions we will take moving forward. I appreciate your frustrations but unfortunately we are all awaiting the confirmation from the factor that the required work to the roof has been completed. If you wish to discuss this further then please come back to me directly. Regards Steve

We did not even have a chance to get a viewing because our daughter is a student. They sent her a very unpolite email. The fact is, they don't give stuents a chance to rent an appartment even if they pay the rent in advance.

Alana Devlin of Benaird responded very quickly and helped me to sort out our issue with a dripping tap to get it replaced very quickly. I was concerned that we were losing a lot of water and fortunately the plumber was able to come around and fix it very quickly. Thank you!

Utterly dreadful lack of communication regarding a boiler that was only repaired two monhs ago. To be informed at 4.45 that there will be no heat or hot water for a second night is unacceptable. To make no offer of help is not just unprofessional but inhumane. So completely sickened by DJ Alexander, will be seeking other accommodation through an agency that is professional. Chris
