It started off pretty well, having done the entire process virtually when I moved countries during the pandemic. From viewing to signing it was a breeze - the agent Kirti Patel was very helpful. But it went downhill from there: I'm staying in a property that is supposed to be managed by David Andrew Estate Agents, with heating and hot water included in the rent. Upon receiving the inventory (2 weeks after moving in) I made note that the oven and heating was not fully functioning. It took 10 days and a chaser email for them to respond - and it's been over two weeks but neither the heating nor the oven has been fixed. There has been no offer to compensate me for the excess rent I am now paying that includes heating which isn't working (I've now had to pay more in electricity to operate a portable heater), despite my ask. So would probably recommend if they aren't the property manager and only play a role as lettings agent, but really disappointed with how long it is taking to do a simple but essential fix!!NegativeResponsiveness
