I recently bought a house on the Croudace Willowbrook Park site in Didcot. The sales team were great throughout the process and always happy to answer questions. Since moving in I've had minor snagging issues (as expected with a new build property) which have all been dealt with quickly and professionally.

Nikki and Sara have been amazing from the moment we came to view to getting us over the line at the end of the sale. The site is safe and clean, it is also well maintained. The gardens and communal areas are well looked after and we don’t feel like we’re living on a building site. Our house is lovely and finished to a high spec. The demo was informative and professional. We even received a lovely welcome hamper when we moved in.

We moved into our home at Hertford 3 weeks ago and the sales team were very friendly and helpful. Nikki is very knowledgable in not just about Croudace houses but the sales progression and many other things, without her help I doubt we would’ve completed. It was very stressful but she was always calm and positive which kept us positive in thinking it would happen, she pushed our agents and chain and we got there. Since we moved in we had some issues but the customer care team helped us and got the things done. Ryan the site manager was very informative on the home demonstration before we moved in and he has done a very good build on not just my home but the phase so far. It’s very impressive how the development has come along. Thank you Nikki for all your help, advice, for always welcoming us in the sales office making the time even after we moved in. Going the extra mile like you have for us goes a long way and I do not think we would of brought there if it wasn’t for your friendliness and advice.Thank you Ryan for building our lovely home

When I first walked into the sales office at Hertford Blakemore Manor I was welcomed with open arms, everything was explained about what was available and sold the show homes were done very nicely and nice to see different styles. With the friendly service and advice from one of the sales team Nicky I brought a home there and the whole process of buying was stressful but Nicky was very helpful in chasing my agents and chain pushing it through, even doing my choices I wasn’t pressured and she helped guide me with my choices I really love my home and the whole Croudace team are there to help Even after being in my home for a month Nicky still welcomes me with open arms and always made time for me.We had a power cut a week ago (accident) and even though it wasn’t her job she stayed well after hours to make sure we was okay, kept the office open making us a drink and a cheeky biscuit Ryan the site manager was very helpful throughout the build and was there helping fixing the power issue It takes a lot to impress me especially with sales departments (I’ve seen it all) but for one staff member to go out there way making sure the process from buying a Croudace home to moving in and even after she went above and beyond.I recommend anyone looking to buy at Hertford to see Nicky, I tell all my friends and family Mr Chairman of Croudace I hope you see this message, Nicky is an asset to Croudace and she is a rarity to the sales department

We have recently purchased a property from Croudace homes at Willowbrook Park in Didcot. Jenny, Charlotte and John were all brilliant with their advice and assistance. They are a really welcoming team with a sense of community and commitment to finding you the right property. Following completion, we had a home demonstration then moved in shortly afterwards. A couple of minor issues were resolved before we even moved in.

Was pleased despite a few issues I had with the property. However I encountered a fault after the warranty period which was caused by poor workmanship. I reported this as info only, not expecting any repairs done for free and I was told “this didn’t cause any issues in the period” and “it is not poor workmanship you must be mistaken”.

TrustpilotCompletely un-caring and un-empathetic senior Croudace staff risk customer uptake, inviting negative feedback
I answered a call from a Croudace Sales and Marketing Director to discuss the problems experienced with securing Plot 10 (the Northall) at the Beeches at Lindfield following a sudden and abrupt change in the release date of the property from end of May 2022 to end of April 2022. Here’s the summary:1. They are completely out of touch with what goes on during the sales process and the commitments made;2. They didn’t show any empathy to what amounted to a devastating piece of news when the sudden change to the release date occurred; 3. They are only interested in the "Big Picture" (their words, not mine) and making money, without having the smaller picture customer’s interests at heart or even beginning to understand them;4. They were completely unaware of what commitments the Sales Office made about the release date of Plot 10 and the definition of releaseable being that the roof would be on by then, which it clearly wasn't at this point in time;5. They didn’t care about the stresses and effort we’d had to go through to meet the original release date of the end of May, let alone suddenly bringing it forward by a month to the end of April; 6. Above all, they presented themselves as un-informed, arrogant, rude and dismissive during the whole telephone call, which was initiated by them in the first place;Based on the above and this type of Croudace employee, I don't think this is always the high quality, approachable, caring or reputable home builder that they would lead you to believe, particularly if a customer has to go through all of this upset and stress even before they've got to the stage of putting an offer in on a plot. I reckon that this must happen frequently with Croudace, but very few people will report it, as it is an example of an early pre-sales issue. My genuine, heartfelt advice would be to avoid Croudace and the apparent greed and uncaring attitude that accompanies this housebuilder. Needless to say, and despite my efforts, neither the CEO nor their deputy were available for any follow-up discussion. Just received a couple of very dismissive, rank-closing emails. Shameful.

We bought a Croudace home in Hertford and all I can say is ... if you need a home go with Croudace (or specifically Nikki)The home itself is absolutely lovely but the reason for my 5 stars is Nikki. From the day we called about the home (off plan) to 10 months later (two weeks in the home) Nikki has been with us every step of the way. Never too busy to answer the zillion questions and doing so with a smile. Keeping us up to speed on what is happening. Chasing those that require chasing... the list is endless. Nikki truly is a GEM!The quality of the house is great and the minor issues have been dealt with swiftly. Unfortunately if available I’m afraid it would be a zero star rating for this house builder. We purchased from Croudace back in April 2020 at The Grange in Tetsworth, Oxfordshire. From receiving the keys on completion day we’ve had nothing but ongoing issues. We walked into our new home to be greeted with scratched stainless steel appliances, rust spots on the cooker hob, scratched sink, exposed electrical wires, electrical sockets not working, cracked plasterboard walls, noisy stairs, toilet seats hanging off, leaking on suite shower (totally unusable), heavily scratched bathroom furniture (cupboards). To be honest the list is endless! We had a visit from their area manager as to add to all these problems we could clearly hear our neighbours at no fault of their own. Words can’t describe how rude this man was towards us. Absolutely disgusting & disgraceful behaviour this man showed in our home to the point I had to ask him to leave. We’ve now had to spend over 10k to try to rectify the poor sound insulation which is totally unacceptable. You shouldn’t be able to clearly hear footsteps whilst your neighbours are walking around their home! This isn’t acceptable in an apartment let alone a semi detached home. During this work we discovered heavy mortar snots sitting on the wall ties within the cavity wall which was described as shocking from the guys who carried out the survey. If you are thinking of purchasing a Croudace home please think twice as this is an honest review of a nightmare year we’ve experienced. We are still finding issues daily (loose bathroom floor tiles today) as are many of our neighbours including flooding in virtually all gardens due to the poor drainage installed by Croudace. What makes the whole experience even worse is we’ve never ever had an apology from Croudace Homes. As mentioned previously if you are thinking of purchasing please think again. Myself and I’m sure many neighbours would be happy to share our experiences with Croudace.

I bought a New 2 bed house in Halstead. The location is pretty with surrounding countryside. The sales staff were very informative and helpful even after I moved in. There were a few snagging issues but these were resolved and being carried out when I flagged them up. A comprehensive folder with all matters technical etc was provided. The on site managers and workmen are very helpful with questions to do with the house. The quality of the build is good . Also Croudace are aware of the environment providing solar power and water butts. I would recommend Croudace to future buyers.

Excellent quality of development in terms of individual house, arrangement of houses and environment. Excellent also in their sales team and aftercare service. As example, my neighbour asked the developer for help concerning the damage of roof after storm. The developer fixed it without further arguments. Developer, house and staff are marvellous.

We have brought a Croudace Home in Hertford and what can I say the sales staff have gone above and beyond for us. Nikki is so knowledgeable, friendly, always made time for us. We had some estate agent issues in our chain and she chased all the agents and helped us push through to exchange of contracts. Her knowledge on the products of different housetypes, build procedures was amazing. The reservation at the beginning she explained it all when showing the plans, doing our choices took sometime and she helped explain and was very patient with us (I’m very indecisive). During the build process she kept us updated and explained what was happening nextThe site manager Ryan was very friendly and explained how our home works in great detail. The build quality is good and Customer care team are great at responding quickly and actioning any issues we had. Even after moving in Nikki welcomes us with open arms and is always smiling. It is a very busy site and always see the sales team out and about but even then no matter how busy they get they make time for us Well done Croudace for choosing a great team at Hertford both Nikki and Ryan are exceptional Keep it up 👍

I have had a Croudace home for 17 years in Chichester. I had snagging issues, everyone does; these were sorted. How would I know that a staircase that was creaking after many years, would be considered a "dangerous" staircase because of creaking and purely down to bad workmanship. I purchased a new build to avoid maintenance issues not bad quality workmanship which could have led to a serious accident. I suggest to anyone who has bought a Croudace home, check your staircase. Sadly because I left it so long, I've run out of the NHBC guarantee and had to foot a bill which left me in a stressful situation for 3 months. I asked Croudace to look into it; refused. Good on you Croudace for supporting homeowners which have bought from you but you do not support even though your workmanship is the issue!!!!!

We bought a new build house from Croudace and moved in in March this year, and we've been living here since. We've been impressed with Croudace, and are very happy with our new home. Build quality is great and there have been no major issues since moving in.Before moving in we had a professional snagging report done which was worthwhile and is recommended for any new build anywhere. Croudace fixed and addressed all the points picked up by the snagger, and we liked the thorough way Croudace approached it. Also, we've had no trouble with Croudace doing any repairs we've asked for since moving in.Croudace isn't perfect and neither is any builder, and the whole process from building to sale to after-sale support involves teams of people and contractors. Overall we can recommend Croudace - certainly at this Willowbrook Park development. Particular thanks to Valerie, Alex and Graham for their professionalism and responsiveness through purchasing, moving in, and follow-up since we've been here.

Don't believe the NHBC rating for this housebuilder. As soon as they have got their 8 week survey in, or it has expired, they don't care. Their attitude towards our sub-standard executive home was to run us out of the 2 year warranty period and throw their customers in to the hands of the NHBC, who are in developers' pockets. When (and it is when, not if) the NHBC find for the developer who pays their fees, Croudace wash their hands completely in an abrupt and callous way. Shocking customer service from Chief Exec downwards.
