Extremely poor company - they have been featured on a bbc documentary in the past!Constant harassment from staff when told viewings are not suitable as a tenant. They also act as a middleman to inform landlords of tenants actions when they are only managing sales and not actually managing a property!

We have approached you via Trustpilot’s private messaging platform for this information, but until we receive it, we will respond based on what we believe to be correct.From your comments, it sounds as if you are a contract-holder in a property we are currently marketing for sale on behalf of your landlord (the owner). If this is correct, we would have approached you with proposed viewing dates/times. Where an occupier isn’t able to accommodate the viewings on the date(s) or time(s) provided, we’re happy to work with you to find a suitable, mutual alternative. Your contract is likely to state that your landlord or somebody on their behalf is able to enter the property for the purpose of a viewing provided the stated level of notice has been provided, so we and your landlord are not doing anything legally or contractually incorrect by attempting to arrange viewings. We trust that a date/time we propose soon will be convenient for you.In response to your final comment, we are obliged to provide feedback to the owner of the property based on our findings whilst visiting a property, which would include tenant actions/inactions.Kind regards,The CPS Homes Team.

GoogleDoes not vet their landlords. Ours threatened to kick us out over reporting technical faults. He would also show up to our house and enter unannounced and they did nothing about him. They also force you to move all of your belongings onto the street when moving out and then wait 5 hours in the pouring rain to pick up the keys for your new house. This wait is non-negotiable and everything you own will have to stay on the street for this time. In the rain. With your electronics. Awesome
Hi Will, Thanks for your review, and sorry to hear that you’ve had a less than positive experience. If a landlord is not abiding by the law, we will always address this with them if/when it’s brought to our attention. We aim to educate them on the practices they should be following and answer any questions they may have. Ultimately, despite our best efforts, we cannot control what they do or don’t do, and as a managing agent we have limitations. There are enforcement bodies who can take action, however. As for moving in and out, it appears as though you chose to rent a new property with a contract start date of 1st July, when your current contract ended on 30th June. Many contract-holders elect to have a brief ‘overlap’ in tenancies to allow them to move belongings from one property to another. This does mean they pay rent on two properties for a short period, but it eliminates any of the complexities that come with ending a contract on one day and not starting a new contract until the next day. Admittedly, there are only few ‘overlap’ opportunities when properties are on what we know as the ‘academic rota’, so we will always allow contract-holders to hold onto the keys to their existing property until as late as possible, or we’ll allow them to collect the keys to their new property early if we’ve had them back from the outgoing tenants. Sometimes, those two scenarios don’t marry up, unfortunately. You are one of thousands of contract-holders in this position, not just with CPS Homes, but with other agents too, and it’s not an easy few days for you, landlords and agents alike. We do our utmost to assist and are grateful for everybody’s cooperation at this time of the year. We’re pleased to say that almost all contract-holders are on board with the process and make arrangements that see them not inconvenienced. We do have a queue to collect new keys, but it isn’t a 5-hour wait, we can assure you. It is significantly less than that, and we send forewarning of the need to queue. Lastly, we’d love to do something about the Cardiff weather, but that is well and truly out of our control, sorry! We wish you well with the move. All the best, The CPS Homes Team.

She is very positive, superbly communicative and goes above and beyond to help. Villy's passion for her job is really evident - She's keen to help find solutions, offer constructive advice and it all comes with an exceptional professionalism. GoogleExtremely disappointing rental experience I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this rental agency. I chose the property because the listing on the rental website clearly stated it welcomes students. However, when I contacted the agency about renting the property, I encountered clear discrimination. Firstly, the agent's attitude towards students was very unfriendly, with a cold and biased tone. Secondly, the person repeatedly asked me how many months of rent and how much I could pay in advance, which made me very uncomfortable. As a student, I should receive the same treatment as any other tenant. I strongly advise other students to be cautious when considering this agency to avoid similar unfair treatment.
