From our first meeting through to completion, we were helped by the C & C team at every step and they were proactive throughout, assisting us and sorting the numerous issues we came across. We would recommend Cox & Co to anyone thinking of selling their property and we will not hesitate to use them again.

FacebookMarc Cox contacted me previously to state a review was inaccurate so I took it down as I have waited for them to respond to a purchase which pulled out at contract stage after 3 months of being informed by them that the seller was motivated even through we express concerns on a couple of occasions about communication. We attempted to purchase a property through their estate agents and got as far as signing a contract after waiting 2 weeks we contact Russell best to get information as we were worried and was informed he was out on viewings I withheld my number and guess what Russell answered the phone and informed me that he was just going out and would update us on the Monday Morning. I was then informed by my solicitor the seller had pulled out, I was confused as I was not contacted by Russell or Mark and the only time I was contacted when i rang him and he said he would get back to us and when I wrote a review stating my frustration. My wife has since contacted Russell who informed us he would speak to seller and update us but we are still no wiser and have not heard from them. I believe as an agency communication could improve as I believe we communicated clearly and precisely our intentions from the start. I also found it interesting that i was contacted after the review but we have as stated had no response. as a family run business I find it confusing that they would not even apologise for not informing us of the seller pulling out after finding out at 8pm the night before as they were aware of all the work we had put in travelling down from London to Brighton several times. also we had got our children places in schools and organised removals etc I am being to feel there is some unconscious bias presenting itself not has good experiences with Brighton estate agents so far

FacebookWhen we went to sell our home, I was nervous. We didn’t know if it would sell, for how much and how long it would take. We’d had various valuations and were pretty under whelmed. Then in walked Marc and we were sold (as was our house in less than a week from going live!) I like Marc’s down to earth attitude, he is very honest and extremely proactive. When the pictures needed adjusting it was sorted, when we had queries to resolve, it was sorted within hours. He is responsive so no chasing for days to get a response to queries and from point of offer to exchange we knew we were in good hands. Would I recommend Marc? 100% and I already have to lots of friends. He will sell your home or help you buy one. I can’t recommend him enough!

GoogleThey listed a one bed flat with an extra tiny windowless boxroom and bunkbed as a two bed property. By legal definition and common decency this fails to meet tolerable standards for housing. Scottish law is very clear about bedrooms needing at least one window and advertising a box room as a bedroom is in flagrant disregard of the law. This was a waste of my time and was very disappointing to see a letting agent misrepresenting a property like this. Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 - essential reading.

GoogleScott has helped me so much with my first morgage. I went to different brookers and some banks to get a morgage but due to being in a one year contract at work no one could help. Scott did the whole process in a week Scott is extremely professional, friendly and approachable. He didn't just help me get a mortgage, but also help me choose the right property. Through out the whole process he was just one phone call/email away. I never had to wait for anything instead everything went so fast that I would struggle to find time myself to even read the documents because of busy schedule. I am extremely thankful to Cox and Co but especially to Scott. I have been extremely busy with work and stuff, but I didn't have to do anything much. I would recommend 1000 times more...

GoogleWe want to say the biggest thank you to Scott at Cox&co for making what was a nightmare first buyer experience into an absolute dream. We were in a really stressful situation trying to secure a mortgage and from my first phone call with Scott, our situation immediately transformed and we felt so looked after. We always felt like he had our best interests in mind and that he really went above and beyond on many occasions to make sure we had the best service and experience possible. He was always super responsive to emails and calls, always made time for us and reassured us when we were feeling stressed. He was also really easy to chat to and friendly so we felt completely at ease throughout the process. He spoke to us like people and never talked down to us but clearly explained all the processes so we were completely in the loop at all times. (Before meeting Scott we found the whole mortgage process pretty stressful and confusing and now I feel like I’ve also learned a lot about the house market world!) You really get the impression that he is passionate about what he does and puts in a lot of effort to make sure his clients are well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Scott for any other financial service. GoogleI cannot recommend cox & co highly enough. As first time buyers, we didn't really know where to start and the whole mortgage process seemed very overwhelming but luckily someone recommended Cox & Co and i am so grateful that they did! They have made the whole process so much less stressful. They took time to explain each stage of the application process and Alan was always on hand to answer my million and one questions. They really went the extra mile to get to know us and understand what we needed. It makes a big difference knowing that you are not just another number and that there is someone in your corner helping to navigate the complex landscape of lenders and interest rates. GoogleMarc sold our flat. He uses interesting metrics to gauge the marketing and found two potential buyers and Marc drew a higher offer from the eventual buyer. This became a sale at the height of the Covid crisis but Marc stood tall when they made an 11th hour reduced offer. The property was exchanged and completed within 10 days of this refusal. YellPathetic experience as letting agent
Very rude. When asked simple queries, during viewing about the furniture, got answers like- this is not a hotel.. this is not a hotel.... Not at all considerate and the tone during overall conversation from their side was, as if i was asking the flat for free. Never ever experienced such behaviour from any agents. The need is same from tenants as well as from owner/ agency side. Agency is to -answer the queries, there is no point in getting irritated about queries being asked. Must improve on the way to handle the customers.
Dear Vinaya, Following a detailed review, it transpires that you were more than happy to move forward with a property that we offered you. Upon providing a full breakdown of requirements (deposit, references, etc), it became apparent that you were not willing to comply within an acceptable time-frame. Therefore, the landlord withdrew the offer made to you. Whilst I appreciate everyone is entitled to leave reviews as they see fit, I find your rating and statement simply unjust.
