We bought our first home from Countryside and were so delighted with every step of the process. We were made to feel at ease and could always reach out to the sales team if we had any questions or concerns. Diana was very warm and professional, making the whole process feel like a breeze but at the same time exciting (when it could have been so stressful). Sales team are amazing, very professional and excellent communication, especially Nadia from Rochester riverside! She is so good at her job and is clear in everything she explains and is just fantastic! Ashmere Home Reservation

I’ve been dealing with Ed for Ashmere from the very beginning, who promptly booked me in to view a not too dissimilar show home at Rochester Riverview...and having seen the quality on display, I was sold. Ed arranged and kept me closely updated on the homeowners Assisted Move scheme. Fast forward a couple of weeks with all done and dusted, my Ashmere reservation’s now secured. Kudos to Ed and his colleagues for all their efforts.

Beware of hidden charges

Beware of hidden charges. Whilst our house has been great they use a company called Land trust to 'maintain the grounds' they then sub-let this to a third party gardener. In my experience they spend most of their time keeping the grass outside the show homes nice whilst the residential areas are in need of much more attention as they have been neglected over the last few years. We are charged around £50 per month for this 'service'. Furthermore when we tried to sell our house Land trust asked us to pay them almost £300 to produce the paperwork for this to be transferred to the new home buyer.

Excellent customer care from site team!

We moved in at the end of January to our new Countryside home in the St. Helens area and we were very happy overall with the customer care of the site team and the Project Manager. All were very affable and friendly and Stuart, the Project Manger, and Ally, the Trainee Assistant Manager, did everything they could to ensure snags were rectified in a timely manner as and when identified by us in the first 35 days. We had one major problem with the garden at the back as it was not draining and was not absorbing water, which meant it was always boggy. The turf used was also of poor quality. After 7 weeks, we asked Stuart the PM to come round and we showed him proof that the garden was not draining and needed land drainage of some kind putting in. Stuart was really good in actioning this and ensuring this was done. Within 3 weeks, our garden had been dug up, land drains put in and garden had been returfed. This was what impressed us the most. Overall, a very professional, friendly and committed customer care service from the site team and very easy to deal with!

We have just reserved a Foss property on the new Accrington development site and have been dealing with Anne Newman. We currently live in Dorset and are planning to relocate to Lancashire later this year. So far Anne has been fantastic in communication and overall customer service.
