GoogleLiving experience has been wonderful. It gives me the feeling of “home”. I have had no household complaints. Transportation in and out has been seamless as it’s positioned in a strategic location. Other than the fact that I am still trying to figure out a long lasting solution to the water that over flows at the entrance to the property, everything else has been nothing short of wonderful. For the good experience so far, I must be really thankful to Emily and Cengiz who took time to make settling in such a wonderful experience.

Our experience with this agency has been very disappointing. We have been living in the UK for 8 years, and we have never dealt with a company as unprofessional as this one. During our tenancy we reported serious issues such as damp, mould and very poor-quality windows that made the property extremely cold in winter. Instead of helping us, the agency refused simple solutions like providing an additional heater, even though the conditions were affecting our family. When we moved out, the agency tried to charge us for problems that were clearly not our responsibility, including mould caused by the condition of the property, a mirror that was already damaged when we moved in, and even light bulbs. We provided evidence, and at one point they reduced the charges, but later they added them back again without proper explanation. Communication was slow and unhelpful, and we often felt ignored rather than supported as tenants. I am writing this review so others are aware and don’t end up in the same situation. I hope the agency will improve the way they treat tenants in the future.

GoogleIn the process of viewing and renting the property I got moved from one person to the next. Really friendly staff I just don't think there is always communication between departments. Emily was amazing and kind. She was very helpful throughout the whole process.

GoogleIf I could give this zero stars I would. Terrible service and no respect for you as tenants. Poor contractors who can’t do a simple task correctly (I.e. replace a broken washing machine - they removed a working dishwasher instead, nearly taking all our crockery). Weeks of negotiation on our deposit, charging us for things that had previously been agreed by the team and then taking weeks to reply. They massively hiked up our rent when we went to renew, and threatened us with eviction when they gave us 24 hours to agree to their revised terms. Property managers were also poor, on countless occasions when we raised issues with the property their response would be ‘the previous tenants didn’t have this issue’ (when they gave us the wrong house key, when they failed to provide a thermostat, with ongoing mice issues). This doesn’t even scratch the surface of the challenges we endured from CKB over the 3 years of living at our property. Avoid renting with CKB at all cost.
