GoogleI am extremely grateful that I chose Churchill Estates in Wanstead to help with my property sale. From the very beginning, I was given honest advice, excellent support, and outstanding customer service throughout the entire process. The valuation was thorough and professional, and the photographs of the property were of an exceptionally high standard. Every viewing was arranged efficiently, and the sales service was excellent from start to finish. A special thank you goes to Sally, the Sales Negotiator and Jack the Manager who provided exceptional care and support throughout the transaction. They were always available to answer questions, kept me fully informed, and acted as an excellent liaison between myself and the seller. The level of communication, professionalism, and customer care I received from the entire team was first-class. I genuinely felt supported every step of the way. I would highly recommend Churchill Estates Wanstead to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you to the whole team for such an excellent experience

GoogleProvided vastly incorrect figures related to service charge and ground rent, refused to take accountability when this was discovered by my solicitors during their checks. Failed to manage expectations with the seller, instead forwarded over aggressive emails from them demanding the sale to move quicker and threatening to increase the price if it didn't. Only proceeded with the sale as we were keen on the property otherwise would have walked away and used a different estate agent.

GoogleWe recently completed the purchase of our home with the help of Jake at Churchill Estates, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. The purchase wasn't straightforward, as our seller's onward purchase fell through, creating uncertainty and delays. Throughout the entire process, Jake was proactive, professional, and kept everything moving. He was always available to answer our questions, kept us updated regularly, and worked tirelessly to help get the sale over the line. His communication and dedication really made a difference, and we genuinely felt he had everyone's best interests at heart. Buying a home can be stressful, but Jake's support and persistence made the process much smoother. Thank you, Jake, for all your hard work. After my mother's death, the sale of her apartment in Elgar Lodge, Malvern showed that Churchill is all about profit and not a caring company at all. The ONLY company in all probate dealings who actually charged me to receive a copy of the Grant of Probate (£136.80). 8 other firms just accepted and even returned the documents. They then delayed the final transfer of sale proceeds on the day of completion after accusing me of not having paid the current service fees and ground rent. The solicitor was telling me they would therefore need to deduct a further £2500+. I had to phone Churchill twice to say I had bank statement proof that I had paid 19 days earlier but this wasn't accepted. I eventually suggested to them that perhaps they had allocated my payment to the wrong account. After a further delay this was confirmed but I received no apology at all. It is sad that the local Lodge managers try their best and have a demanding and sometimes stressful job. From what I have seen over the years, I would always give them high praise. Indeed, I have previously given a 5 star rating specifically to an ex-manager there. However, it is the controlling management company who let the side down and seem to be lacking in humanity. I am just glad we will never have to deal with these people again.

GoogleAll the staff at the Chingford branch of Churchills that I encountered were super friendly and helpful. I want to give a special mention to Jack, Dean and Martin they worked tirelessly, always very quick to reply to emails and return phone calls. We completed on Friday and was presented with a New Home card & gift box a nice touch and very unexpected.

GoogleI couldn’t recommend Churchills highly enough. From the moment I first got in touch, Dean was incredibly responsive and proactive. He kept me fully informed throughout the entire process and handled everything with real professionalism. As landlords based hundreds of miles away, it was hugely reassuring to know he had built such a strong relationship with our tenant, which made a real difference. Dean was also very realistic when it came to pricing, and we received an offer the day after the property was listed, fantastic results. Thank you to Martin too, who was instrumental in helping us navigate a delay along the way, keeping me updated at every stage and ensuring everything stayed on track. It feels quite bittersweet, as we originally bought the property through Churchills 11 years ago, so for them to now sell it for us as well really brings things full circle. Thank you to the whole team for such a seamless experience!

My husband and I moved to Dovehouse Lodge, Hitchin in January 2020 having just retired. Prior to our move, Sales were really helpful and kept in touch regularly to answer our many questions. Everything went well with our move. It’s now 6 years since the move and feel it was the best decision we ever made. Dovehouse Lodge is walking distance to the beautiful market town of Hitchin which we love. We are also surrounded by amazing parks and great garden centres so an abundance of places for coffee etc. Dovehouse Lodge is a lovely place to live. We have the most wonderful Lodge Manager, Linda. Linda goes above and beyond to be there for all the owners. Any help or questions we have, Linda is always there. She is kind, helpful and approachable and we count ourselves so lucky to have her looking after us and the Lodge. Eileen Durkin

GoogleI would like to thank Churchill Estates for handling the sales of my property, particularly Jack who handled the process from start to finish with a professionalism. The process I was dreading, dealing with buyers and solicitors etc but fortunately I had hardly any dealings with anyone apart from Jack (Churchill) who kept me updated all the way through, just had a brief meeting with a solicitor to finalise paperwork then was all completed. I can’t recommend Church Estates enough, Well done Jack.

GoogleWe had a great experience with Jake (and also Sam and George) at Churchill's Buckhurst Hill who were all very helpful and made a great impression from first contact. Having dealt with the South Woodford branch as well, I would say Churchill's come highly recommended There is a personable feel to dealing with Churchill's and, unlike some agents, they don't have the habit of being on the other line/on a valuation if you need something. When they are genuinely unavailable the rest of the office team are very helpful and they clearly work as a team. The balance of wanting to keep things moving, without being pushy, is spot on. Churchill's were also very good at knowing when to call and when to e-mail and their communication was transparent and appropriate, without unnecessary/vague voicemails and constant calls that sometimes are a feature of this sector. Overall, Churchill's left a great impression and are exactly what I would look for in an estate agent for sales or lettings. Many thanks again Jake and team, Matt

Both the lettings and sales side were very efficient and professional - in particular Jake who dealt with a frustrating sales process brought on by the inefficiency of others - and he did it all with humour and good grace - especially when having to deal with his increasingly irritable vendors.
