I’d like to say thank you to Sally and Lauren at Churchills Wanstead, for guiding a complete property novice through what was a long and stressful conveyancing process (not the fault of Churchills) for the purchase of a retirement property. Lauren was there for the viewings and gave me the space and freedom to look round a couple of properties, without being pushy; unlike an experience I had with another company. Sally was there, guiding the sale and keeping us up to date on a regular basis. Both Sally and Lauren would also respond to phone call requests and emails promptly, unlike some experiences that friends and family have had with other estate agents over the years. I had the absolute pleasure to utilise Churchill Estates in Wanstead to purchase my very first home. After years and years of house-hunting and unsuccessful previous attempts to buy my house, I came across the perfect home for me with Churchill Estates. As a first time buyer I had lots of questions and insecurities. I had the pleasure to deal with Andy, Wanstead Churchill's branch manager, and Lauren who kindly showed me the flat and arranged all the meetings. As a buyer you sometimes feel Agencies try to make the full interest of the seller, Andy actually took time to explain all the details of the house I was interested in, and helped me valuating both all the pros and cons I could encounter, and I thought he was extremely professional and fair in acting as the mediator during the negotiation phase, THANK YOU Andy! Sally was brilliant and she put up with a LOT of difficulty! The seller’s lawyer delayed everything a lot and was then shut down because they were under criminal investigation, which was a nightmare for us and the seller - she kept us updated, she took documents over to the new lawyer, she did everything she could to help. Even after the sale, she let us bring post in to pass onto the seller (they didn’t change their address for quite a while for some reason). She really went above and beyond and was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Sally!
