GoogleMy son & I bought two flats in Deptford in 2015 through Claire at Cannon Kallar. We found Claire very helpful and professional - even if the vendors weren't always prompt with their replies she would keep us informed and push things forwards. Would recommend their services very highly, especially Claire.

GoogleThe purchase of our flat was one of the messiest property transactions I've ever heard of - though this was no fault of Cannon Kallar. Nathan assisted admirably as best he could, and was an excellent and crucial middle man between ourselves, the vendor, and both sets of solicitors. It was an ordeal but Nathan made it more bearable. He was professional throughout and didn't mind our daily progress check calls! Thanks Nathan, would definitely use again.

GoogleI have used Cannon Kallar on two occasions: once for a sale of a flat and previously as managing agents for a rental property. I have no hesitation in recommending them for both. Sales 2015 CK were highly professional and gave good advice throughout the sales process. They took excellent photographs, marketed the property well and helpfully followed the process through to completion. One of their strengths is their local knowledge. Rental Managing Agents CK managed my property for about five years. They were great: managing the rental process, finding a decent tenant and being on hand for day to day issues. It made it a painless process for me.

Even though I wasn't able to go through with renting a property through Cannon Kallar, my experience with Rob was perfect. Unlike many agents I have tried contacting in London, Rob professionally replied to my emails within the hour and called me back when he said he would. Despite getting an offer rejected, he did not hesitate to call me to schedule numerous viewings the next day and I could clearly see that not only was he committed to the job, but also that he genuinely cared. I never felt like I was being tricked or lied to, as I have felt with other agents, and was always treated with kindness and respect. With this positive experience of the first steps of renting through Cannon Kallar with Rob Langley, I am more than certain that a tenancy with this agency is a breeze.

Genuinely the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with. I cannot tell if they are incompetent or duplicitous. Probably both. They change rules at the last minute that seem to make no sense. Don't trust them with anything - they lost our inventory, they used to let people into our house when we weren't there without notice. They told us we needed a guarantor (and so took £200 off us), then when it failed, they said we didn't need it as our salaries were high enough. Obviously, this charge was not refundable though. When I left, it took me 2 months to get my £900 deposit back, even though the inventory had been completed. They lied and said they had sent me my cheque twice; I know they lied because when I finally I received the 'new one' they had sent, it was dated weeks before. They will charge you to do pretty much anything. When our contract came to an end, they said that for my flatmate to continue with the property although changing two of the tenants names, there would be an extra cost of £300 per person. This is in addition to the ~£200 reference/guarantor charges, so they wanted to charge them more than they would someone 'off the street', but without actually doing any of the adverting, showing around etc. Avoid Cannon Kallar at all costs, I hated having to deal with them. They are just terrible at their jobs.

GoogleInsane, how rude and arguing the staff are. Not helpful at all, just same story everyday. We moved in on 1st of August, before moving in they told my husband they will clean the property. Finally, we moved in, the property was and is, till now, very very dirty. Yesterday after I came from work, I started to clean the fridge, went to the bathroom to rinse the towel, and I step on the big piece of glass and injured my foot. Luckily, stopped the bleeding by keeping my foot under cold water for a while. So, I am pretty sure this place wasn't even hovered before we moved in. Called them many times yesterday, they were keep telling me my agent on call, then on meeting.. Finally, got a call back just before 6pm, explained everything and lady said be patient with us, we try to call the landlord but he did not want to deal with property today. Wow, just amazing, despite all of that, they don't want to listen to us, to tenants, what we are trying to explain. How far this can get we don't know, I only hope I will not catch any deceases after stepping on someones broken piece of glass. Very very horrible experience.

GoogleIf you use Cannon Kallar you will regret it I have been dealing with them as a tenant and absolutely the worst experience I could have ever imagined. Not only do they overcharge compared to other rental agencies, they will try to con you out of extra money! Don’t be fooled by fancy suits and the free offer of a bottle of Perrier water, this company is only after one thing and once you sign on the dotted line their customer service ends there. Avoid renting with them - Absolutely terrible!
Dear sir/madam, perhaps you could confirm your name or address please. As I don't believe we have ever dealt with you and we most definitely do not have Perrier in our office. They have tried to rinse us of money in any way they could and at any opportunity no matter how far reached. The staff are also deeply unpleasant people. This is the first review I've ever written -- after our experience I feel compelled to warn potential tenants. They're essentially crooks masquerading as estate agents. Would give zero star if I could. Steer clear!

I would like to rate Emma who oversaw the process of viewing and renting the property I now occupy in Deptford. I had been looking for 6 months and despite fraught nerves Emma was always calm and friendly. I never felt any pressure from Emma although she kept things moving forward and gently sent me reminders. Emma always remained in contact with me and she made a conscientious effort to accommodate my needs and answer all my queries despite the process not always being entirely straightforward. After I moved into the property Emma continues to liaise with the landlord and responds as promptly as she can regarding any queries or issues I might have . Overall a very pleasant experience to deal with an agent like Emma.
