I cannot rate Ibbett Mosley’s West Malling office highly enough. Deborah and Jules were extremely helpful and professional throughout the whole process. They were working under very difficult conditions because of Covid 19 and the March 31st stamp duty deadline. However, they achieved a very good price for my property and offered great service throughout. I will definitely use them for any future property transactions.

I couldn’t of asked for a better estate agents from the minute they did the valuations, they went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The viewing were extremely well managed and the staff in the offices were so polite, kind and considerate when arranging the details. Deborah did an outstanding job at the time of accepting an offer and handled all negotiations to to a quality that I cannot even describe, it was faultless. She made every effort to find the best buyer and kept me updated every step of our process. The other factor that i want to say thank you for was the detail and support in navigating me through the legal process, liaising with soliciters and facilities management companies which relieved so much stress during the pandemic. Can’t recommend them enough and absolutely would use them again and again!!!!

We just want to say thank you to Deborah and the team at Ibbett Mosley in West Malling. We have recently sold our house with them and throughout the process they were professional and efficient. It has been a difficult time to have viewings recently with the ongoing pandemic, but the processes that were put in place by the team were to keep both ourselves and potential buyers safe. Which made the whole process more comfortable for us. We cannot recommend them enough. Five stars!

GoogleAbsolutely unprofessional and unethical lettings agent. Viewed a property and then made an offer, paid a holding deposit and they still advertised the property. I was told by Janie that other people are interested in the property even when I deposited the holding fee. She told me they have referenced another tenant and for me to complete my referencing form fast as other people want it who has passed credit checks. Why take my money and then entertain other tenants? This is illegal as they should have stopped marketing the property once I paid the fee. They only took the property off the market once I complained to her. They have kept my holding fee of £807.69 and refusing to return it. Rogue estate agents! I will be escalating this further to the Property Ombudsmen and Trading standards to the local council.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
Dear Rachelle I am sorry that you have misunderstood the process, we only reference one applicant at a time and only retain a holding fee in line with the Government Tenant Act 2019 when appropriate as per the application form and repeated by the referencing company. I worked with you urgently for two weeks but in the end it is was the Landlords decision. The extraordinary activity in the market has been reported on the national news. I have advised you how to proceed in the future to avoid this again and wish you well.

GoogleService at the beginning was amazing, however once we left the property the letting management team at brackets made accusations against us that were completely untrue and they were unwilling to help, causing us extremely stress and poor health. They demanded that the key was returned the day we left the property even though we stated in our letter we would be leaving at the end of the month and handing the keys in then, this gave us no time to clean the property properly, which led to them taking more out of our deposit then was needed. It became very petty and felt they were accusing us due to the personal issues they had with my partner. No one should bring personal issues into a professional environment. I would not recommend renting from brackets

GoogleAfter reading some negative reviews I felt compelled to share my experience of excellence with Brackets. Having experienced letting agents from Crouch End, Wimbledon, Royal Victoria Docks and Tunbridge Wells I cannot commend Bracketts Tonbridge enough. I am now entering my 6th year with Bracketts and I can truly say over that period I have experienced nothing but a friendly, professional and "nothing is to much bother ' attitude throughout every aspect of the service they provide. I would happily 10 star if possible. So, Wendy, Abbey and the whole team carry on doing what your doing because your doing great.

This can sometimes be a difficult and stressful process but the team in Tonbridge perform the tasks with calm good humour and understood all my requirements. I have had experience of letting from other agencies and my experience was nothing like the service I have received from the team at Bracketts. GoogleNot impressed with the service received from Bracketts. I thought I'd view a flat with them and was optimistic to get registered with them due to their good reputation through reviews and reasonable fees. I was shown around and then proceeded to chat with the agent about fees etc and my circumstances. They spent the whole time telling me that I was basically wasting my time offering any money for the flat in question because of my low wage even with a guarantor. Not only that, then said that basically I wouldn't be able to afford any rental on the market. At the end of the conversation that I shouldn't be put off making an offer! I did put an offer forward for £25 below the rental price pcm because i liked the property, and asked them to get back to me with the answer. Its been almost 2 weeks, and they still haven't got back to me or let the flat. Very poor customer service. I would not use them again for renting or buying/selling of property. I have now successfully managed to rent a property from another estate agent, so.. shows how much they value potential reliable tenants.
Dear Georgia, we have checked our systems and no-one called Georgia Clare has ever been registered with our offices, but if we had received an offer we of course would have put it to the Landlord and responded to the applicant. We always put all offers to our Landlords.

GoogleMy first dealing with Brackets estate agents was when we were moving back to Tunbridge Wells from overseas and we were looking for somewhere to rent. The agent who was showing me the properties was very helpful and as well as showing me the properties that I requested to view via rightmove, she also suggested I consider an area and a property that I had completely dismissed. She was right about the area, I loved it there. I was impressed enough to approach them when we came to sell our property. I found Sarah Mott in particular to be extremely professional and very insightful with great advice on selling versus updating our property. The valuation was realistic and the property did sell. I did find that after we had agreed on a sale that there wasn't as much of a push to close the sale as we expected - all parties work through their solicitor and the estate agent is the only person who can contact all parties to ensure smooth sale, this can be frustrating but it seems to be the UK system. We did complain at the time that we weren't getting updates so they reached out more but in hindsight they were updating us to say that there wasn't anything to update about. All said we were very happy with Brackets and we would happily use them again to buy or sell a property.

GoogleBased on the other reviews I’m not sure why we were treated so poorly by Bracketts. Essentially we were completely ignored once we had put in an offer in for a house, which was accepted. Then radio silence.. we called every week for updates but there was zero communication, we were just fobbed off every time, and after 6-8 weeks of waiting we gave up completely. We can only assume the sellers eventually pulled out but Bracketts didn’t have the decency to call and let us know. This was a big move from London into our forever home, so it has been an additional strain on what already is a stressful and emotional process. Buyers beware, Bracketts seem to only care entirely for their sellers. A highly disappointing customer experience and just so utterly bizarre.

Unfortunately it wasn't to be as the owners, despite regular prompting, were unable to secure anywhere suitable to move to, and they, like us, were disappointed to have kept you waiting. GoogleA well-deserved 5 * review for the most professional estate agent we came across when we were looking for a property. I’d offered on a different property first via another agent then was told I need to see their mortgage adviser before my offer was put to the owner. Although I did speak to their mortgage adviser, when I told them I would stick with my current mortgage adviser, I was then told that although my offer was accepted, they wouldn’t now take the property off the market. I didn’t want to incur costs on a instructing my lawyer and paying for a mortgage application on a property they were still offering for sale. In the end, although I wanted to buy the property, it was made impossible by the agent who put these obstacles in the way. When I found a different property via Bracketts, there was none of this nonsense, and I ended up with a great experience and a quick transaction. During the course of my purchase, I dealt with the whole team, all whom were really helpful and professional. I can recommend them wholeheartedly.
