GoogleWe needed a quick sale and contacted 3 different estate agents. I called Bear at the Southend branch and spoke to Ricky Foker and arranged for him to come round and do a valuation. He turned up promptly and exactly when arranged and immediately we felt this was the person we would trust with the sale of our house. He understood our needs and took time to talk with us and we could tell he really appreciated our home and gave us great confidence. I can honesty say the difference between Ricky’s approach and the other 2 agents that attended was like night and day! No comparison. Ricky quickly arranged the photos and particulars and I was able to speak to him about the details and get everything just as we wanted. We had a buyer in just under 6 weeks. Ricky is a fantastic negotiator and really worked hard to get us the sale we wanted. Ricky and his team at the Southend branch were all amazing and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
At Bear we are so proud of Ricky and all that he brings to the team. He is a great mentor to the staff and your feedback confirms this. Ricky is so pleased to see this review and we all appreciate you taking the time to write it. Thank you, Bear

GoogleWe have just completed our time with Bear, we sold one and bought two properties via the Leigh team. From my initial meeting with Jack all the way through to Megan handling our sale/purchases, we had nothing but professional and efficient service. Ours was a delicate situation due to divorce but they handled it beautifully. For every time I answered a call to have Megan say “it’s nothing to worry about” was so appreciated and made a stressful time less so. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Bear again. Thank you all.
New Year is almost here and it’s wonderful to start it with your positive words. Frankly, Bear is so happy it went so well and I know Jack, Megan and all of us here, will be wishing you a very Happy New Year ! Bear

GoogleBear Estate Agents have been fantastic with my house sale. Excellent and respectful taking photos of the property, innovative with aerial shots and nothing was too much trouble. Continued open and easy communication. Helpful and tactful with the sales progression also. Always knowledgeable and helpful with advice when required. Very professional, and yet compassionate and empathetic. The team's compassion and understanding was invaluable to me. Wouldn't hesitate to use Bear EA again - very happy to recommend them.
It’s always so heartwarming to receive feedback like this and we thank you so much, Jennifer, for giving it to us. Selling a home can be a story full of twists and turns with all the emotions that brings and Bear tries so very hard to manage all of it in a positive way. That’s why this feedback is so very important to us. Thanks again, Bear

Google10/10 service from Bear in regard to the sale of my mother's property. I was always kept informed of any client visits and they also helped overcome an obstacle with regard to house clearance. Happy to recommend with the highest praise.

GoogleBear Estate Agents Basildon Branch , We wanted to take a moment to express our appreciation for everything you have done for us in selling our house ! Bear really are an exceptional estate agents who helped us to sell our house 3 weeks after putting it on the market. We have had excellent communication from them throughout and want to say a special mention to Leigh-Anne who is nothing short of a saint, her organisation really helped pull everything together and we couldn't have done it without her. Hannah and Naomi Shaw
Hi Hannah, what a positive review! Leigh-Anne and all the Bear team will be ‘over the moon’ because reviews like this make it all worthwhile…thank you so much, Bear

GoogleVery disappointed with Bear branch manager and director. Sale fell through and I haven’t been informed for 4 weeks until my solicitors figured this out. Wouldn’t use this agency again. Should of made an official claim but couldn’t be bothered to waste more of my energy.
Good Afternoon Inga, we are sorry you feel this way. We did have a very hard task keeping this sale together after you had lowered your offer at the end of the transaction. Our vendor is an elderly lady on her own and the management of this needed to be handled with care and patience. We appreciate the market isn’t as strong as it was last year although dropping the agreed price so late in the process unfortunately meant our vendor changed her mind in selling the property all together. We were hopeful that our vendor may have reconsidered her position which was why there was a delay, as explained to you on the phone. We wish you all the best with finding another property. Kind regards, Bear

GoogleExcellent service from Bear. Jack was extremely patient with us and valued our house at exactly the right price point, and then did a good job of the photos. We had a steady stream of people to view - into a house that I didn't think would get that - and everyone was interested in the accommodation and there were no time wasters. Fees were very reasonable, and no requirement to have a board up outside. Buying, which we also did through Bear, was similarly excellent, and the team were always careful to listen to what we wanted and didn't push properties that didn't match our requirements. Can't fault them, and would use them again (although I'm rather hoping not to have to move again!). Highly recommended.

GoogleGreat to work with very professional cannot thank them enough for making the sale of the house so smooth . Especially Kyle very professional in how he dealt with a couple of curve balls that came up
That is so great to hear! Happy that we could get over the glitches as these can happen so often and an estate agent must keep on top of them.. we are pleased to be of service, thank you for your review, Bear!
