GoogleWe had a fantastic experience with Bear for the purchase of our first home. We dealt with Roman and Zoe who were both very knowledgable, quick to respond to any queries and guided us through the whole process. GoogleBuying my first property through Bears Estate Agents was an absolute pleasure. Always happy to answer any questions I had which made the whole process less stressful. A massive thank you to Megan at Bears, she was fantastic and very knowledgeable... even when things got a little complicated she always had a plan and a plan B. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Megan and Bears. Would recommend to anyone.

GoogleLast year we put our house up for sale with Bears and within a weekend our house was sold. Their customer service, professionalism and care that Bears (Joe specifically) showed was second to none and we couldn’t fault it for a second. The advertising was out of this world and this reflected in the very quick sale that we had. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances the sale fell through and has been put on hold for a while until the time is right again but we would not hesitate to use Bears again in the future.

GoogleSold my house through Bear - Basildon branch. Everyone there was fantastic. Joe for the valuation and putting the property on the market. Daniel for securing a sale within the first weekend of viewings and then quickly finding another buyer when the first buyer had to withdraw and last but not least Leigh-Anne for keeping us updated with progress and completion. Would recommend.

GoogleWe first met Joe when he came to value our house. During the meeting he clearly explained current market trends and things to consider with the process. We had a few valuations from other agents too, but decided to use Bear because of the good initial impressions and interactions we had with Joe. Joe and his team organised the viewings and talked us through the offers we received, providing guidance when selecting what offer to go with. While selling our house we were also looking for a place to buy. Regardless of the estate agent selling the properties, Joe was always happy to provide advice and guidance on the properties we were looking at and how to achieve the best price. During the selling process Joe and his team were available when ever we needed to speak to them. Overall very happy with using Bear to sell our properly and guide us through the process.

GoogleBear (Leigh-on-Sea branch) provided an absolutely amazing and professional service from start to finish. Jack explained everything very clearly from the start and took excellent photographs of my property. Marcus kept me updated with viewings and after less than a week the property was sold. The ongoing support from Megan was second to none. I was kept updated the whole way through and I didn’t need to chase anything as they did it for me. I would highly recommend Bear to anyone looking to sell their property- they really did help to make the process go as smoothly as possible.

GoogleRecently employed Bear Estate Agents (Basildon/Essex branch) to sell my property. I was happy with the results, service and price they provided. They worked very quickly and managed to help secure a sale for the property within a couple of months. The estate agents (with a big mention for Leigh-Anne Davis) helped keep myself, my solicitors and the onward property’s agent (I’m purchasing) in contact and up to date. Very polite and helpful and definitely worked hard to deal with an extremely difficult and arrogant buyer. I would definitely recommend this estate agents over others, for their great price and their services including doing viewings for you if you are unable to do them yourself or need to take a pet out of the property.

GoogleEvery team member at Bear has been terrific but our case handler Megan was truly spectacular. She went beyond the call of duty on numerous occasions and we feel she was the only reason we managed to complete on both our purchase and our sale. Her efforts were unmatched and she did the work for our other estate agency, making calls every day to get us across the line and chasing when needed. If we move again, we know who we will call on!

GoogleWe sold our mums bungalow via Bear Canvey island..Tony was our first point of contact and dealt with the valuation, advertising and photographs guiding us through the process aswell as attending viewings with potential buyers when needed. Marcus and Hayden set up most of the viewings, both are an asset to Bear they also attended when we needed them too at viewings ,were quick with feed backs and kept us up to date at all times. Once sold, Meghan was an absolute star, we had a couple of issues which she advised us on and it all went smoothly in the end with Helen keeping us up to date on day of completion. Everyone I dealt with at Bear were so friendly , knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with, they made a very difficult time a little easier .. I would have no hesitation in recommending them ..thank you to you all at Bear

GoogleBear recently sold my father’s house - The team really impressed us with their efficiency and we felt that the person who came to value was very professional and realistic over pricing as we appreciated that the house needed a lot of work. The fact he wasn’t pushy also impressed us. The details were swiftly uploaded on to rightmove etc and the house sold within 24 hours. Communication with the team was always good and we would definitely use them again.

GoogleThis branch is seriously lacking professionalism. Arranged a viewing for a property which is located in a different city to where I am based. Everything was confirmed via email at least twice. Arrived on time to the property to only find out that the seller had no idea someone is coming to view the place. Apparently no one even contacted her. Could not see the place, which means I wasted hours of getting there and back + train fare for literally nothing. Sent an email to the agent I was dealing with from this branch. Not even an apologetic email back, let alone suggesting an alternative viewing slot. Complete silence. Probably the worst treatment I ever had.

However, the team at Bear Estate Agents Leigh have gone above and beyond in their duties, not only helping me secure a house I love, but also making the process as smooth as possible; getting me from my offer being accepted to exchange of contracts in two-and-a-half weeks! My thanks go to Alex and Jack for their endless patience in showing me the house again and again, but my deepest thanks go to Megan who has helped me navigate this process with kindness and understanding. Her professionalism and efficiency have facilitated my purchase in record time and with the minimum of anxiety.
