GoogleI have recently been dealing with Roberto Saraby from the Totteridge office. He has been great showing me a variety of properties and taken time to understand my requirements. As a first time buyer I have found the process challenging but Roberto has helped me a great deal. I would highly recommend him.

GoogleI have received a really good professional service from the sales manager Roberto Saraby. One of the better estate agents I have dealt with whilst looking for a property for my daughter. In the end we did not find through him but I would like to thank him for his help throughout my search. Would highly recommend him as I already have to a friend of mine looking to sell in Totteridge.

GoogleReally awful experience with their lettings department, they were treating us like cattle whilst renting out an illegal flat. Would not use them again, there are much better estate agents out there.

GoogleWell, where to start? Maybe by saying that I speak to many agents across London as I constantly look for properties to develop, so I have a pretty fair benchmark to compare Anscombes against. And it does not look good at all. Anscombes does not work for the buyer, as any agent anyway. But the issue is that it does not work for the seller either. It only works for itself. Their only aim is to get as many deals as possible and to close them as quick as possible. They don't care if they don't keep buyers in the loop and informed about bids they submit. They don't care if they don't get the best price for a property. They just want to go fast. And by the way, no need to complain, they just don't care. Any other agent in Notting Hill should be able to do a better job than Anscombes. Don't go for them

Having had numerous experiences of estate agents over more than 30 years, ranging from barely adequate to downright shocking, it gives me pleasure to say publicly that this lot are really good. Not once did I have to chase them up over anything; on the contrary, they regularly kept me informed on the state of play and weren't averse to giving my solicitors a bit of a push. Kunal Kapoor and Nick the manager were really helpful and managed to overcome a serious obstacle that arose just before completion. I would have no hesitation in having them act for me if I ever become a vendor.

GoogleAvoid at all cost! Organised scam at the end of tenancy! During tenancy, the agency took weeks before fixing major issues such as broken windows in winter. At the end of tenancy, the landlord claimed over 2 weeks of rent for a professional clean and minor scratches on the floor and walls that existed prior to the start of the tenancy. Anscombe uses a one-man inventory agency company dubbed Ft2 inventories. This agency conducts a light check-in inventory report at night time and a very detailed check-out inventory report at day time. The flat was left spotless after a 280GBP professional clean yet Ft2 inventories reported the flat was not cleaned up to professional standards. Landlord and Anscombe backed down from the claim after weeks of muscling up and proving that claim was unfounded.

GoogleAs a buyer who had spent some 9 months trudging through the area searching, finding Anscombe and Ringland, and more specifically Nicholas Spencer, was a great relief. Nicholas was ultimately professional and did not show me properties that were "not even close" to what I was seeking as other agents did with regularity. He took my measure and called me on specific properties he knew would be of interest, one of which I did purchase. The true test of any service is not when things are going well, but the opposite. The sale was full of more questions than answers, slow responses from the property managers, lease plans in error and so it went. Nicholas, kept the sale process steady and calm despite having his responsibilities at his office raised. He still took a prompt and active role in assisting me to ownership. Anscombe and Ringland Notting Hill are the agent that is the exception to the rule of self interest we all like to believe about real estate agents. As a figurehead, Nicholas Spencer is exemplary in his professionalism and care.
