GoogleI complained about the broken furniture in my apartment in May, and the agent said they would send someone to fix it. Nothing happened. Then an agent called me saying they had lost the key to my apartment. I went to their office and it turned out the key had always been in their possession. I complained about the broken furniture again. The agent said “oh I am so sorry! I’ll send someone to fix it!” Nothing happened. Now even more furniture are broken. I called and was told they would send someone to fix them. Again, nothing happened! I figure they don’t really want to fix the furniture, so that at the end of the contract they will blame me and take the deposit. What a shame. To follow up with what I wrote earlier: Three weeks after I complained here on google map and was again promised someone would fix the broken curtain, blinder, cabinet and bed, nothing has happened! Two weeks ago, a guy came with a ruler, stayed for 10min, and measured a thing or two, and said he would come to fix the furniture. Then, as you might expect, he or Alex Neil never contacted me again.
Dear Xiaolei Xie, We are sorry you have chosen to leave these comments as a review of our services. Unfortunately, you haven't provided the address of the property that you are referring to. Without that information it isn't possible for us to investigate and respond to you in more detail resolving any issues. We would like the opportunity to do this, so please send an email with further details to headoffice@alexneil.com Best regards, Alex Neil Estate Agents

GoogleWe viewed a property on Vassal Road SW9 with Alex Neil estate agents. I wouldn't usually leave a review of an agent based on one viewing but it was so bad I felt I had to. The telephone manner of the agent was unprofessional; shouting down the phone to be heard over the loud house music playing in the office. The property itself was a joke and nothing like the photos. This would have been understandable if priced accordingly. The agent clearly had no idea about the construction of a building. A general understanding of buildings, their construction and maintenance should be a prerequisite for a professional selling a property considered by them to be worth £525k. Instead he just lied and made up facts. He told us, completely inaccurately, that the massive crack in the plaster on the stairs was there because it was irreparable; that the reason why the floor was uneven was because the builders ran out of concrete (even though it was obviously a suspended timber floor); and then said the bucket catching water dripping from the ceiling of the bedroom was due to condensation! I'm giving two stars on the basis that it was the sellers that insisted the property be marketed at £525k.
Dear AMBC, Thank you for your feedback, we were sorry to hear that your experiences fell below that of your expectations. We have taken your points on board and will raise them with our teams accordingly. Good luck with your search for a property. Best regards, Alex Neil Estate Agents
