FacebookI was living with Adhoc Property Guardian since October 2016 in west London. They lie about facilities and services. I was relocated this Feb and within a month I've got another notice to leave. I wasn't even settled in. I might just be unlucky that I always get to choose the places that are taken back by the client or what. But, I've decided to rent privately now. This kind of property Guardianship scheme is not suitable for people with full time job and who want to live with their family. If you consider the amount they charge for some of the properties, it's not cheap anymore. If you can spend £500-600 to be a property guardian for a studio flat, spend a bit more and rent privately. Won't recommend anyone who doesn't want to move every couple of months.Advice to the agency:Please get a contract with your client before you let guardians come in. This is inhumane to move people out within few days of moving in.

As a concept the idea is great, I love the fact that I can make a valuable contribution to the community by protecting properties from being vandalised etc... all the while saving money. On the whole, the experience is a good one - with some persistent annoyances which have caused me to reassess my original review as not being wholly representative of the facts. Happy to give my opinion on what it's really like living in such a property, suffice to say it has its ups and downs. Often dependant on the building you are in and which Ad Hoc office you are assigned to. Great when moving into a new area, great as a means of saving money. And if this was your only motivation then it's a no-brainer.

FacebookI love my house in Wales and have some of the best housemates ever! Our manager James did an amazing job selecting guardians! We have settled in nicely and the house is once again being used as a home. Property guardianship is a lifestyle choice-there maybe uncertainty, but there is certainly adventure and lots of space!

FacebookJust moved into the property in Norwich. Excellent helpful staff who are very approachable. Great solution for renting, I met the building owner who appreciated having adhoc tenants on site during renovation process.

FacebookI can't recommend ad hoc or Nicky, our north east agent enough. I'm living in a wonderful house for half the cost of anywhere else and it was really quick and easy to get signed up and moved in

FacebookI have been with AD Hoc for over two years and they have always provided me such great and affordable spaces to live in. The staff are polite and understanding and the size of thw properties you reside always give you your own space 10/10 recommend if your after affordable and cheap accomindation

FacebookI love Ad Hoc! :D I currently stay in a property in Scotland (west coast) and it's my very first flat. Not only was I welcomed by other residents I was supported greatly by both our head guardian and Chris (our Ad Hoc team member in charge of our property). There is no problem too big or too small that Chris won't try to help sort out. I love the community feel or being a property guardian and the building I live in is great! :D I hope I will be able to stay there for a while to come and would love to live in another Ad Hoc property :D

FacebookI recommend Ad Hoc to anyone who is looking for cheap and good accommodation. I have a luck to be living with really wonderful, open and smiling people as a guardian at one of the properties. Professional and quick customer service is their another positive side.

FacebookThe properties are nice until there is a problem.Because you could be waiting a while for repairs we've been left without heating had to shower in the dark.And now there still with holding my bond and rent.

FacebookThe staff have been really helpful in finding me a room in a lovely old care home in norwich. Within 1 week of first telephoning them i was signing for my keys. the transaction was quick and easy. The place is nice and tidy well kept and very large. for the price i pay is good for the size of the room, with multiple shower rooms and a large shared kitchen and washing room. All tennants i have met so far have been warm and friendly. So far nothing bad to say about this company or their process. All in all a happy tennant.
