I have used many agents across the area and Acres have provided without exception the worst experience thus far. Unfortunately, I have instructed them 3 times and they have failed to deliver the basics on each occasion. My most recent experience resulted in the following - Lauren turning up late for viewings and then proceeding to go to the wrong property. - Doing zero research on the property as she unaware of the main selling point of the house. - Buyers turning up at the house without Acres who did not cancel the appointment, heck the did not even make us aware an appointment had been scheduled. Prior to this we used them twice to yield the following results - Allowing people to enter the property with shoes, against our instruction - Leaving doors unlocked after leaving the property - Letting kids jump up / down on the sofa and messing around with household items at a viewing - Buyers turning up the property with communication from Acres - Turning away prospective buyers by not allowing them to see the property They are cheapest in the area for a reason, Chris is professional but unfortunately his team does not follow suit and are unable to manage the basics.

No option for zero so I’ve had to choose 1 star. We were needing a valuation for our recently deceased mum’s house and since Acres had sold a lot in the complex they were a shoe in. Or not. The guy who turned up (Chris?) didn’t listen to a word we said, asked the same things repeatedly and spent most of the appointment completely unprofessionally slating the other agent we’d told him was coming the next day. Then the branch manager hounded us almost daily with calls whilst we were trying to sort out our mum’s funeral. We had been clear with the visiting agent about our situation but this obviously had not been passed on. Incidentally, the other agent they slated was actually superb and totally understood customer service (Shipways). Zero empathy or compassion for our situation shown. I would not recommend at all.
