GoogleI was buying a particularly troubled property, with problems on its paperwork, boundary maps, etc.. Claire Allum did an amazing job in chasing the solicitors to ensure that everything happens at the end. It took in total 137 days from offer acceptance to completion due to the lockdown, which was affecting the operation of the city council, solicitors, banks, etc..., but Claire was always present to chase. I am thankful for their support, especially in times when we were losing hope in the purchase being completed before the stamp duty holiday ends.PositiveResponsiveness

GoogleCan’t recommend acres enough. I switched to acres during the COVID lockdown as my property had been on with another estate agent for over 6 months and not sold. Immediately Acres (Louise) gave me a realistic sale price and the viewings came in abundance, the property was sold within weeks for a price I was very happy with. They took the stress out of the whole sale; and as I live in London and am no longer in the local area, they certainly helped to give me peace of mind throughout the process. Always dealt with any issues that arose and secured a final sale price which we were very happy with. Viewings were always done when they said they would, however they are at the mercy of buyers and sellers who could make life a little easier for everybody. GoogleLengthy but honest review (Even 7 stars are less) There are Estate Agents and then there is Acres-Great Barr. When we started looking for our house, we approached various agents trying to get an appointment. Most of them are "busy in themselves" and very hard to get an appointment for any house that you might like. BUT NOT WITH ACRES. A huge shootout to CHRIS DEEKES, Branch Manager. He was quick to arrange appointments for us and helped us throughout the way. To be honest I committed a mistake when I did not go with the lawyers that he suggested and trusted someone that I found online (A company with 4.8 stars on Trustpilot!!). THAT WAS A GRAVE MISTAKE ON MY PART. But Chris came to our rescue every time, time after time. When my lawyers would drive me mad, when the seller said that they do not want to empty the house till Christmas after agreeing on offer, when the documentation was required...list is on and on; I would get in touch with CHRIS and he would most humbly put the things right. He has been a life saver otherwise the way all things went especially with my lawyers, I would have landed up with some mental health issue. The SOLD board on our house is still up and I do not mind for anytime that ACRES want to keep it. I am so very thankful to Chris et al and STRONGLY RECOMMEND ACRES in general and Dear Chris in particular. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars which I believe are an injustice to the way that Acres and Chris have helped me. Thank you, Thank you so very much Acres and a Super duper THANK YOU TO CHRIS DEEKES.
