It was very easy to book an appointment with a solicitor via phone call yesterday and I came in for my appointment today to meet a solicitor called Amy. She was a very helpful and polite person who helped me with the documents I needed. The office's are clean, tidy and well kept, the staff are all nice people and they seem to be a busy establishment with lots of customers. Thank you Amy and start. It was good to have a professional business help me as all other legal businesses kept telling me they only deal with existing clients which was very disappointing. But this business was very welcoming. Big thumbs up..

I found that I am not alone when seeing the 1-star comment here which related to the legal team's approach. My concern stems from their insistence on moving directly to the legally binding contract stage without a clear preliminary agreement in place. This felt premature and disregarded my needs and the seller's initial understanding. Specifically, the lawyer repeatedly urged me to proceed to the contract phase, mentioning this pressure three times. (her words also showed her rudeness and impatience - this is the third time that I have asked you for this) but we didn't agree on anything, actually I and the seller preliminary agreed with some terms, but a lawyer jumped in and said this was not common practice for under offer. I think as long as this is legitimate and we both agree for some reasons, why do we have to border the norms, she just doesn't want to reconfirm our understanding (yes, she replied normally within 5 minutes) then push me to contract stage. This pushy attitude made me uncomfy, as it seemed to prioritise their fees over facilitating a mutually beneficial agreement. Their stance, that our preliminary understanding was not 'normal practice,' felt dismissive. While I found the estate agent team to be acceptable, despite some errors, the legal team's lack of professionalism and apparent self-interest has led me to conclude that I cannot recommend their legal services. I can imagine they don't really care about the customer, like thinking if this isn't the buyer, someone else will come along.

A huge thank you to Lauren Docherty, Tyler McLean, Amy Dignon, Erin Carchrie and anyone else who was involved in the sale of my flat. You made it so easy for me. The service was oustanding.

Lawyers and conveyancing team are completely inept. Total silence throughout the entire process and have not even bothered to update me when important milestones have occurred. Estate Agency team are not any better.

The most ridiculous flat inspectors out there. Totally unrealistic points picked up on vacated flat. Picking up items that had been changed but not remembering they had actually changed the items themselves. Nice try but no cigars this time.

I have dealt with Jade Shepperdson for over 12 years now for the letting of our flats in Aberdeen and have always had first class service from her and also John Sherwood in her absence. They are highly responsive, always keeping me informed at every stage of the process and also keeping us up to date with letting regulations, etc. I can’t recommend the letting team highly enough.

I had a viewing today very far from my house, I had to take a taxi to get there and there was nobody in the flat for the viewing. Moreover the company didn’t send me an email or a text message or even bothered to call to inform me that the viewing got cancelled

Horrible experience. ON MY DAY ONE, the charged me for the repair of a faulty and old door lock. I was locked out of my room and everything I had was in there. I even had to ask people on the streets in the COLD to use their phones to call them and they said it wasn’t an EMERGENCY!!! I couldn’t even buy food or water for hours!!! They weren’t even planning to bring the locksmith that day if not that I pushed!!! Maybe because I’m not Scottish I was treated HORRIBLY!!!

Don’t use Aberdein Considine terrible company, had a done deal with an offer accepted and in place and they turned around and told us we didn’t have it. Absolute joke, first time buyer looking to get onto the property ladder and can’t even help us do that. Thanks for nothing

Waiting for almost two months for remortgage to be completed. No updates of progress, hard to get hold off. Delay will cost me extra money. Avoid.

Staff aren’t interested in answering questions and viewings. One will tell you one thing and the next another! They aren’t keen on replying to emails either. I’d advise fellow students pass this lot by for looking at uni accommodation.

As a first time buyer, everyone involved with helping me purchase my first home was superb! I had excellent support and advice from Nikki on how to make sure I get the best mortgage before Chris and the team got to work on ensuring my offer was accepted, and I had the keys in hand as soon as possible. I couldn’t recommend Aberdein Considine highly enough for those looking to buy, it was so smooth and easier than I could have possibly dreamed it would be to get my ideal flat.
