Our property had many viewings but offers received were not acceptable. We wanted to reduce the asking price prior to the Christmas break however, Kira Moir our Senior Property Adviser, suggested we hold off until the New Year when more buyers would be actively looking. The reduced price and timing worked as we had a raft of viewings and 3 offers which took matters to a closing bid. We are a married, retired professional couple with a blended family. We approached Aberdein Considine's Waterloo Street, Glasgow office for advice on Wills and Powers of Attorney for both of us. As relatives in a similar situation had recently been scammed for a substantial sum while seeking the same advice online, it was important to us to seek out professional and fully accountable help. We consider ourselves fortunate to have engaged the services of Senior Associate, Fiona O'Donnell. Throughout a complex process, Fiona's responses were timely, clear, reflective and very thorough - both by email and in face-to-face meetings. She explained a range of options open to us and took the time to ensure that we understood the short and long term implications of decisions we were making, offering advice and clarification whenever needed. On top of her wealth of knowledge and expertise, she was just a lovely person to deal with. We would not hesitate to call upon her services again.
