I would like to thank Sophie Duggan for a great viewing experience Saturday 10th December. The vendors would of been very impressed with how she gave us a very warm welcome and then continued to offer enthusiasm throughout the viewing and also offered some very useful information regarding letting opportunities that Reeds Rains also handle. We loved the house but because we are not local, Sophie's manner was the final tick in the box to give us the confidence to put in an offer right there and then. It was accepted! Reeds Rains is now handling everything for us. Thank you Sophie.

Hi Just wanted to give a quick review in regards to the meeting I had with an Ell Matthews, discussing my interest in the possibility of buying a house. Ell made me feel comfortable and explained in depth the process in which I would have to go through to purchase a property. All other Agencies were very cold and I could tell they had no interest in what I had to say. This Agency was very welcoming, and I will look forward to doing further business with Reeds Rains. They were the Estate Agents used by the seller. I was not impressed at all. When I called to request to see the property so I could take measurements before completion I was abruptly told they were very busy and that the appiontment would have to take no more than 30 minutes. I was told that the gas supply was a pay as you go metre key top- up which wasn't the case at all. When I finally went to collect the keys after completion I was told they didn't have them all! The previous owner had still got the front door keys as they had forgotten to get them from her. I think you can understand I wasn't happy to receive this news. By day 2 and no full set of keys I had to get a locksmith in to change all of the locks. To top it all off I have had to report a neighbour for smoking pot due to my utility room and kitchen stinking of the stuff, but when I visited the property and raised this concern to the estate agent it was brushed aside as if I was being silly. There had also been previous complaints/disputes with the same neighbour for the same reason but this was withheld from the legal pack!

Eleanor was very helpful in describing all she knew about the local area. She mapped her own experience in finding a house to what the property we were viewing would be like. We felt that as we were looking for a higher return on our capital that although these flats are well laid out inside, the lack of garden and dedicated/secure car parking were against it.
