GoogleOn occasions I have had dealings with this company. And I was shocked at how thay still allow property landlords to discriminate against the people who may be on benefits. It's shameful and it should not be allowed. But, sadly, they aren't alone there are other letting agencies who "get their kicks" out of discriminating against their customers and more so if they are disabled. Even requesting a guarantor for those on benefits is wrong. As long as the rent is paid and on time does it really matter where the money comes from? There are still policies which are so outdated still in use today. And they are discriminatory. This is so rife in Blackpool and Accrington and Great Harwood. Be very vigilant when dealing with a property letting agency. And keep tabs on your money.
Darryl. You are correct you have had several dealings with Property Shop. These date back to 2012. Property Shop does not discriminate against benefits or anyone with a disability. I personally told you that you did not require a guarantor subject to you providing evidence of savings and a suitable reference from your current landlord. You provided neither. GoogleI highly recommend property shop My true experience….After meeting Alfie at a viewing I knew straight away that this was the company I wanted to go with. Being a first time buyer I had so many questions and was so worried about what to do and not knowing anything at all about what I have to do, but the truth is Alfie Brittany and Lisa take care of absolutely everything and are with you every step of the way. They have all the knowledge to answer any questions, nothing is too much trouble , always get back to you straight away but most importantly so welcoming and friendly . I literally bought a house without any worries or concerns everything was arranged and done for me by these three professionals. Google5*+ We had a lovely viewing with Ruth yesterday, very friendly and professional...she answered all our questions very quickly which was brilliant! We were able to take our time to view which was really comforting...Your virtual viewing is also really good! Another thing i would like to comment on is their pictures don't lie! The property was better in person! I would also like to add, Shelly who we have talked to over the phone has been lovely and professional too! Highly recommend these guys! I have had a couple of bad experiences with estate agents while looking for my first home, but these guys just made me feel completely at ease, they are actually interested in what you have to say/need! Thank you for your time! :-)

GoogleProperty shop recently sold our property and the service was exceptional. From the first stage when Paul Sutton visited to complete the valuation we knew we were in safe hands. The marketing of the property was second to none. The sales pack was amazing and drone footage available. I had interested parties say they hadn’t seen anything better. The photographer is a real asset. The you have the office team lead by Shelley. A well run team who have your best interest at heart. If you are looking for someone to sell your property then call Property Shop, you won’t regret it!

Google10 years ago I had my house up for sale with a local estate agent. Due to a slow selling market at the time, I decided to let the house rather than sell. I contacted a number of local estate agents who seemed uninterested and gave me very little information other than the letting management fee. Then I rang Property Shop. The guy that I spoke to was exceptionally helpful and stood out from the rest. Steven and Jamie came round to view my property and I felt that they were trustworthy and wanted decent properties for decent tenants. I decided to sign up with them and within 3 days they had a tenant signed up. Over the years I found them very fair to both the landlord and the tenant with regards to fair wear and tear. As the business grew over the years I never felt that the service that I received was ever compromised. Now that the house selling market is currently a 'seller's market' I decided that it was the right time to sell the property. I didn't hesitate to use Property Shop. Once again the service provided, this time by the house sales staff, was second to none. Hopefully one day I'll buy another 'buy to let' property. If I do, Property Shop will certainly be my first port of call. Many thanks to all at Property Shop.

GoogleProperty Shop have managed our properties for some years now and they handle tenants and manage repairs very well. They also sold a house for us smoothly and efficiently. However we recently had some more extensive building work done by one of their contractors and both they and their contractor demonstrated a breathtaking lack of professionalism, failing to provide adequate proof of works carried out. Property Shop failed to update us and inform us that the work had been completed, failed to provide the promised warranty and failed to respond to complaints until I mentioned we were going to the Ombudsman, after which they were defensive and produced an inadequate warranty. As builders ourselves, we are well aware of how such projects should be carried out and are frustrated and disappointed. Their partner company contacted us a while ago about having insulation work done, which we obviously shan't touch with a bargepole. In sum: sales and lettings - recommended. Building work - no.

Do not deal with these people. I've been renting from them for years, and Everytime I need to communicate with them, I end up mentally unwell!!!! Gaslighters of the highest order in the office. When I leave I will go into detail, but my God, I've never ever in my life felt so disrespected from a company. Do not rent from these people, unless you enjoy banging your head into the wall repeatedly after speaking to them, and being called a liar when having to fork out money to repair a roof which was reported in November 2023, it's now September 2024. If only I could contact my landlord and not have to go through these cowboys.

Overall they have managed (and sold) properties well for us over the past twelve years. Excellent at handling problem tenants. We have had issues with larger maintenance jobs which could have been handled much more professionally. But as a letting/sales agency they are fine in our experience.

GoogleI’ve just bought a house with the Property Shop following several disappointments with purchases falling through. I’ve had some bad experiences with estate agents in the past but Abbie Wake at the Property Shop was helpful and honest throughout. She ensured the buying process ran as smoothly as possible. When I come to sell in a few years I definitely be asking Abbie to help me sell.

GoogleI rent a house from Property Shop in Accrington. I had an issue with the boiler, which was fine as things can break and go wrong, that can't be helped. I reported it on the Saturday morning and even on a weekend the plumber was there the same day within a couple of hours to fix it. Property Shop generally have been great.
