GoogleThis is the most horrific letting agency I have ever been with. The final straw for me was being accused of being 'aggressive' and 'verbally abusive' after asking contractors to leave my property after they entered at the request of the letting agency with no PPE or any awareness that we were in the middle of a pandemic. The work they were carrying out was not even an emergency as they knew about the issue before I even moved in but didn't bother to do anything about it until the landlord from the flat downstairs was threatening to turn my water off. So why the five stars? This rating is in no way a reflection of the company as a whole as I would give them zero. The five star rating is for Adam and only Adam. He has been absolutely amazing cleaning up the mess left by the rest of the company. He is the only person with any sense at this letting agency. If you are unfortunate enough to have to deal with them then ask to speak to Adam. I was left feeling like everyone was against me until I spoke to him. He has helped sort out my deposit and has been so kind to me. He has been so willing to assist me with any problems I've had including the stress caused by this company. He is an absolute gem. I can't praise Adam enough.

GoogleAs a tenant, Martin & Co has been nothing but helpful so far with any problems me and my flatmates have had with the flat. They are very professional and responsive unlike some other agencies in the area that I've had to deal with. The agent dealing with our flat, Calum Glover, has been great in terms of communication, which makes us feel very comfortable if we are ever in need of an emergency.

GoogleAvoid this agency, nothing but problems. I rented a property from them and found a large leak in the bathroom roof, reported several times over 4 months and nothing was done until eventually the roof caved in! We were then unable to live in the property for a month while repairs were finally being done and had to fight just to get that months rent back. They showed up at the flat without any notice several times and let themselves in without any notice on one occasion. Also, they deducted a £150 cleaning charge from the deposit even though the apartment was spotless upon moving out, which seems to be a common occurrence so if you do rent with them don't expect your full deposit back.

GoogleHad an extremely streamlined process letting with Martin & Co, taking only a couple of weeks from viewing the flat to moving in. As someone completely new to the city, they were very accommodating to travel needs during the move and endeavoured to make things as painless as possible. Staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help in a very timely manner whenever I had any inquiries. I did have one minor hiccup, which was some small ambiguities in the emails from LettingsHub who handled some things behind the scenes for Martin & Co I believe. However, these were predominantly misunderstandings due to inexperience on my part and were quickly cleared up by the knowledgeable staff with a simple phone call. All in all, they've made a daunting move relatively straightforward for me, and for that I can't thank them enough.

GoogleMy rented property has been managed by Martin and Co for nearly a year now. They have fixed every issue I've ever had and have been quick to respond to my emails. All of my querys and issues have been dealt by one representive, Rachael, who has been great, speedy in replying, nice and efficient. The third party companies they use to fix flat issues (plumbers, electricians etc) have all been good as well. Friendly and competent. No issues at all.

GoogleI was extremely satisfied with the service provided by Martin & Co. Especially with Rachael Irvine, of whom which I corresponded with the most during my tenancy. Every email I have sent has been responded to within a quick time-frame and any issue that has ever arose has been dealt with quickly and efficiently. I have previously been involved with a different agency which has left a sour taste in my mouth, corresponding with Martin & Co. was a breath of fresh air, especially how stress-free it was for me. If it wasn't for a personal reason for moving out, I would continue with my tenancy. I will definitely recommend the agency if an opportunity ever arises.

GoogleI am glad I chose Martin & Co for renting a place in Aberdeen. For a person totally new to the city as well as country, the process could not have been simpler and fuss free. I found many options at reasonable pricing and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for renting in Aberdeen. Easy sorting out of problems and troubleshooting is an added advantage. The staff are friendly and helpful, special mention for Calum who is ever so handy with information as well help!
