Horrible agency. They do not communicate anything with you and it takes weeks to get something sorted as everything needs to go through the landlord which you are unable to directly do yourself. They screwed me over with my £850 deposit and said that I need even needed to pay them more even though the condition in that flat was good. They charged me with painting work that wasn't done before I got there and for some reason was my deputy to do whilst living there even though it was previous damage to the property. This was not communicate to me either. DO NOT GO WITH ABERDEEN LEASING PROPERTY

So far our experience has been good with APL. I have been in a relatively cheap flat rented through them for 2 1/2 years and have had very limited need for them to do anything. They have conducted regular inspections with no issue. We are about to move out, they have arranged viewings over last couple of weeks with minor communication issues but nothing that worries me. I have spent many hours cleaning I will take photos of the state we are leaving the property in and will be handing in keys later so will update after we have completed the handover back to APL. EDIT: Just had email saying although some cleaning is still needed they are happy with the effort that has gone in and will not be deducting anything from the deposit. I personally would recommend APL, they have been good with us at every step.
