Star rating averages across postcode areas vary surprisingly little — most cluster between 4.2★ and 4.6★. But the spread on reply rate is much wider: top areas reply to 70% of reviews, the bottom 15% never reply.
The South-East corridor (Guildford, Reigate, Sutton, Bath) leads on both star rating and reply rate. The large metros (Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh) sit at the bottom — high volume but lower per-office reputation. The pattern is consistent: market-leading agents tend to be in commuter belts, not city centres.
