I've been dealing with Littlefairs as a tenant for over four years now and it has always been a pleasure. Nothing is ever too much trouble, the staff are all very friendly and respond to questions and problems very quickly, and maintenance issues are similarly handled very promptly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to rent in the York area, they're brilliant.

The pricing is competitive compared to other property management companies in York - and cheaper than several others I looked at. Avoid like the plague. Of all the letting agents I've known these are by far the worst, and least professional. Faulty electricals in their property caused a housefire which sent me and my partner in hospital, following which they have provided absolutely no support, still charged rent as normal despite us not being able to live there and then had the cheek to take the damage deposit from us because of damage caused by the fire. Being a small company, they have a lot more to gain by taking the deposit from you, so bear this in mind. They like to do business with you over the phone so there is no paper trail of what they have said, in my case this meant that additional fees were added last minute and I was pressured to give payments on short notice which is a classic scammers technique and just goes to show how unprofessional this company is. I am having to take legal action against them as when I made them aware of various laws and tenancy acts they were breaking, they simply refused to communicate with me any further. As stated before, avoid like the plague, "Littlefairs" is about right because there is little fair about them, if you're a corrupt landlord, I'm sure they're right for you.

I have used Littlefairs before and seemed like a competent companty, nice staff and quick and friendly service, hence why i used them for 4/5 years. Even recommending property managers and tenants to use them. However at our last property the landlord tried claiming almost £550 in damages. We disputed this, only £160 was awarded to the Landlord, showing they tried to take almost £390 more than they should. The landlords were unwilling to negotiate any sort of price reduction so we were forced to dispute the costs which not oly took a lot of time, but also was extremely stressfull for all involved. From what I have experienced, the owner seems like a nice bloke, however this has left a bitter taste and I would be unwilling to use Littlefairs again purely on our experiences of my last tenancy.

Recently moved in to my first rental and Littlefairs have been absolutely fantastic. It’s been so hard recently to even get just a viewing for a rental but Littlefairs took the time and gave me the option to view two properties. I absolutely love my flat and I’m actually so thankful I didn’t get the first property I looked at because this one is perfect for me. Their whole team have helped me out with any problem I’ve had, they email and communicate really well. They also have a good app to log any faults and get the relevant people sent out as quick as possible. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done and keep doing what you’re doing. You’ve been fantastic.

They were able to arrange a viewing for me on relatively short notice, and when it came to applying for the property they were very efficient at every step and kept me updated along the way. The most genuine, and caring estate agents that we have ever met. Scott always had the tenants best interest at heart and you can tell they are very family orientated. Scott was always easy to contact and if we needed any help in the flat it was always so quickly organised. Nothing was too much for them. They are also very polite and well mannered. We even had post accidentally sent to our old flat a year after we had moved out, and Scott immediately offered to forward it on to us, and he even paid for tracking. Thank you for completely changing our opinion of estate agents, and for caring so much about your tenants :o) It is really appreciated and we would definitely look to find a new home with Littlefairs again.
