would definitely recommend Littlefairs iv had some bad experiences with other letting agencies so it was refreshing to work with a bunch of nice people like becki who was a delight helping us with all the paperwork and not making it stressful on the moving in day. After contacting Scott at Littlefairs and agreeing to meet a few days later at the property , the property was listed on the website and a viewing was arranged for 2 days later and just over two weeks later I have had a confirmation email saying tenant had moved in today ! Exceptional service and would thoroughly recommend . All queries were answered so I understood the procedure and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and best of all I was contacted regularly with updates regarding the viewing and references . Would like to say a big thank you to the team at Littlefairs!

I moved to York during a very stressful period due to the coronavirus outbreak. It was impossible for me to travel there and check houses in person and therefore I wasn't able to rent any of the houses that I was interested in. Littlefairs Property Company was the only that supported me along the way. Michael was the best architect we could have encountered. He listened, advised, challenged, came up with ideas which hadn't occurred to us and produced a marvellous plan and design to fit our needs. They made the process of securing the flat we wanted to rent much less stressful than our experience with other letting agents. Once we had expressed our intent to rent the flat, they removed it from the market and gave us a nice window of time to submit out application. This meant we didn't have to race to submit all the forms and documents, all while stressing about losing out to someone else (which was our experience with other properties we looked at). We really appreciated this. They also made the move in process very easy, meeting us at the property at our desired time to hand over the keys and sign the documents. They have been quick to respond to phone calls and emails, and overall have been lovely to deal with in general.

Previously I’ve used larger national/chain agents to let my properties and overall this has resulted in a poor customer experience for me personally. This was mainly due to lack of communication and having to consistently chase for updates , which is normally subject to being able to get through on the phone and not being diverted to an e- receptionist and emails being answered - highly frustrating! With the team at Littlefairs, I had a role reversal with Scott and Donna contacting me with feedback, updates and advice. The service was highly refreshing and I genuinely felt/feel valued. In terms of specifics, the pictures looked better than those I’ve previously had in the past, and because of this I had a suitable tenant within 48hrs. The inventory was clear, detailed and also flexible enough to be done in the small window I had between tenants, which happened to be 4.30pm on a Friday. I’ll be using them again next time!

What a wonderful service Littlefairs have provided. Excellent communication and very prompt at responding to queries from our initial query wishing to view the property, which we are now renting, right through to the aftercare stage. Absolutely outstanding customer service, our little boy was poorly on moving day and my husband and I were unable to both meet Richard at the new property, one quick call to Donna and she kindly arranged for Richard to drive my husband back to the house we were moving out of so I could sign my part of the paperwork - definitely over and above what I could ever have expected. I can highly recommend this small, very friendly and obviously very caring family run business.
