Very good, not the cheapest letting agents but extremely thorough. All the paperwork was taken care of in regard to letting my property. The team have visited the property several times, for initial valuation, to take advertising photos, and finally for prospective tenants' viewings. As a landlord, I was kept updated throughout. Recommended.

GoogleIf I could 0 I would, I advice no one to deal with this agency they where nothing but hassle don’t help when you have issues with properties, they don’t stick to there word. On top of this L&S had setup up NPOWER accounts in my name without me knowing causing my credit score to take a hit and causing 6 months of grief and hassle, I am taking legal advice with this as it’s classed as fraud. If you want to take anything from this stay away from these guys I also believe they have lied about damage in the property and damaging the property causing me not to get my deposit back. Again going through legal advice because of this.

GoogleI moved to a new home with Linley and Simpson, from Coalters my previous letting agents. I understand Coalters have now been taken over by L & S, but my what a breath of fresh air! The attitude and response of this firm has been nothing less than professional and overwhelmingly impressive at certain points. Maintenance issues are solved swiftly and without fuss. They are helpful and always have your best interests at heart. Most importantly, the team at York do not keep you waiting on the phone trying to speak to a member of staff. When you call, your enquiry is answered swiftly and positively. I do not begrudge these guys a penny of any agency/renewal fee. On top of that, I love my current home and I'm so grateful that I managed to grab that tenancy before someone else!

GoogleWe bought a house recently through Linley and Simpson incorporating Coalters and were really pleased with the help we had from Rebecca Ross, our real estate agent. We were first time buyers and not really conversant with the process of buying a house. Rebecca helped us all the way through, patiently showing us what to do and devoting any time we needed to check various aspects of the house. Rebecca's communications were very good and never pushy. I can certainly recommend Linley & Simpson to anyone looking to buy a house.

GoogleExtortionate “fees”. Will charge you £40 for “dust” on top of picture frames. Will arbitrarily charge fees for “damages” for things that if weren’t already there to begin with, are results of expected wear and tear over time. Don’t expect responses to your emails for weeks. Will return your deposit to you without you having approved the deductions. Incompetent staff that will claim colleagues are on holiday to deflect responsibility. Would have rated zero stars if possible.
