Poor service from the Wakefield branch…

Poor service from the Wakefield branch from the start to finish of our tenancy. Accomodation in poor state, promises made to fix up holes in the wall, fix kitchen etc never happened. Yet we lost half of our bond because the bin was missing and there was general wear and tear. Also charged us for cleaning when we had cleaned thePlace thoroughly with a private cleaner. The place was much cleaner than when we first moved into the property and had to payA lot for it to be privately cleaned. Rude staff, not helpful in the slightest. Will never recommend Linley and Simpson.

Where to begin...

Where to begin...I'm currently looking for a rental property in hedon, can move ASAP, have everything ready an waiting, i rang to enquire about a property they have advertised, the woman on the phone snubbed me said will get back intouch and was still waiting when I had to call back and I'm still wait now to hear back and all because I have a service dog, they are been difficult. When legally that can not refuse a tenant due to having a service animal, i work full time, an im appalled at the discrimination shown by Estate agents these days in regards to service animals.

They literally couldn't care less

Rented a flat through Linley and Simpson for 2 years, couldn't be more disappointed with the service. Our fridge broke, they brought the new one and didn't take the old one away for weeks, by that point we were in lockdown. We had the old fridge stuck in our kitchen for about 4 months, it took up literally half of the room and was going mouldy. They then tried to put up our rent for the next year (lol). The tenancy is over now, we paid £250 for a deep clean of the flat. We had to chase for 3 weeks to try and get any communication about getting our deposit back. Obviously they are still trying to withhold some of the deposit. Including £10 to rehang a curtain, so greedy and ridiculous. Going to have to go through the deposit scheme to try get it back.

We rented with them for 16 years when we were given our notice when my partner fell ill and we really struggled with the move. They refused to let us get all our belongings as we'd gone over by one day. They also ignored all attempts to contact them to resolve this. We felt like we were being treated like absolute degenerates by these agents and would genuinely recommend going elsewhere.
