GoogleI had a very bad experience with Linley & Simpson, York. On the day of collecting the keys, they asked me for the share code, which unfortunately I have never heard about as I am new to the country. I waited 2 long hours at their office to know about the share code issue, none of their employees bothered to even come and help me out. The receptionist (I don't know her name), doesn't even know how to speak to the customers and very rude. I tried to ask her what is this share code all about and even opened my laptop and asked her how to obtain those. She does not know how it is obtained, she went on to ask 2 to 3 of her colleagues who did not even get up from their seats to help me out. The lady came back to me and said straight to my face that they will not be able to give the keys. Just imagine, paying my hard earned money and not getting the keys for my house. I left their office without getting my keys, I did my own research the same night and came to know that it is called 'Right to rent' share code. A humble advice to the Linley & Simpson management. Don't expect all the customers to know about Right to rent share code. Some are new to this country and does not know the procedures to rent the house here. Please help them out. Training is a must for your front seat (reception) staff to speak politely to the customers without any discrimination.

Tyla - She is our main contact who conducts our tenancy check outs. She is very professional and thorough in her reports and gives good feedback with her findings. She is very helpful when advising us of the tenancy deposit scheme and how they look at potential damage claims. I take her advice as I know she has great knowledge in this field and I trust her to help us through any issues which may arise.

I used the Bingley office and has very positive experience. Dan went to value the property and take photos and then Ruby dealt with the viewings and sale. I live in London so it was hard for me to work out which agency to use as they all have bad reviews online. It was also the worst time to sell but the mortgage on the property had ended and just needed to be sold ASAP.I contacted 4 agencies and Dan got back to me the quickest, viewed the property the following day and did a lot of leg work right form the off so decided to go with him.Ruby was outstanding from the off. She found a seller and really stayed on top of things and pushed hard to get the sale through.No messing around, called ALWAYS returned and she went above and beyond.I also used local solicitors recommended by Ruby called Switalskis who were also super efficient Huge thumbs up from me for the Bingley office !!!
