They did not disappoint, handling the preparation of all the sale details, advising on price and organising prospective buyer viewings in a most professional and efficient manner.Michelle Noon, who was our designated Sales Negotiator, was enthusiastic and proactive throughout all aspects of the process and negotiations, which certainly made our lives much easier.We would recommend Linley and Simpson generally and Michelle in particular to anyone thinking of selling their property in Hull.

Appreciation of service.

In both letting management and property sales we have found the service exemplary. The staff are always courteous and helpful and it is refreshing to encounter an office environment where harmony and enthusiasm is always in evidence.One thing that singles out Linley and Simpson’s superiority over other companies , retailers and manufacturers is their feedback - if they promise to ‘get back to you ‘ they always do and without delay.Overall the Company and staff seem to appreciate the apprehensions and stresses that can so often accompany house sales and purchases, and they go out of their way to reduce these anxieties to a minimum.

Alex was friendly, professional and knowledgable. From a Tennant: From start to finish, Linley and Simpson in YORK has been great. fromStart with Chloe and Rebecca from York, to the maintenance team, Chris and Roxanne to the end of the tenancy, Maja Gierwatowska. They have all been great. Yes there’s been hiccups along the way, most recently a little dispute with the deposit, but Maja went above and beyond negotiating for us, responding quickly and effectively via written and verbal communication. Maja has been outstanding during the difficult situation (even when I was annoyed! - She still proceeded with great professionalism). I’m extremely happy and I would rent through Linley and Simpson again, this is probably because of the way Maja handled things towards the end, as this could have turned a different way very quickly. Thank you to the York team!

Great Agency for those moving into the City

Im moving to Leeds for a new job and so it’s been tricky trying to book flat viewings when Im not currently living in the city. But Linley & Simpson have been great - scheduling me in to see 3-4 properties in a hour. Declan especially has been very helpful and I have now found the perfect flat. Luke and Brad as well have been very polite when speaking to them on the phone. They are very careful to take in your requests in terms of what you’re looking for and what area. Overall a very good company when trying to find a flat to rent. Thank you!

I have rented my property for over 20…

I have rented my property for over 20 yrs but only fairly recently have Linley and Simpson become my landlords. I had my first property inspection last year and I was unsure of what to expect but it went really well and any issues I pointed out to them were dealt with promptly. I recently inquired about the possibility of them putting up a back garden fence on the property for my own privacy and security for myself and the house. Even though there wasn’t a fence when I first moved in, they listened to what I had to say and within a few weeks I’ve got my garden fence! It looks really nice, Graham who put it up, did a great job. All the staff at Linley and Simpson who I’ve dealt with have been great and Will ( the property manager) has always been approachable, understanding and professional and makes sure any issues are dealt with promptly.

We arranged an appointment to view a property. Ben Holmes, the agent, phoned us before the meeting to check on our arrival time and then met us outside the entrance. He was properly prepared and able to answer all of our questions. He also introduced some information which we hadn’t considered relating to parking and access which was most helpful. Since the meeting he has followed up all administrative aspects in a swift and timely fashion. We have been impressed with the level of service provided and intend proceeding with Linley & Simpson as a result.
