My first viewing with Linley and Simpson was with Spencer, I was a little on the fence about the property and had plans to do viewings for the rest of the week, Spencer gave me some great tips and key questions to ask during my viewing processes with other agencies, these would make navigating the search so much easier. Fortunately ,later in the afternoon of my first viewing another property became available with L and S, I appreciate them emailing me re this; Spencer gave the heads up. For my budget, the new place was everything I needed and have agreed a let , currently tying a few loose ends, but hopeful everything will be finalised soon. ◡̈

As a Landlord and having recently had tenants ask for a month by month tenancy as they are buying a house, I have been in touch with Linley & Simpson to clarify what exactly to do in this situation. Talking this through with Ella Hodson at Headingley, who has especially helped me through all the details and what was needed as far as documents etc, certainly gave me the confidence to make a decision. The team at the York office are professional, focused and experienced. We felt very well looked after when buying a house through them. They kept us updated every step of the way and their recommended solicitors and surveyors all worked as a team to get things done quickly. In particular they have a sales progressor that keeps things moving once the sale is agreed and she is worth her weight in gold. If you’re a motivated seller or buyer this is the team you can trust.Overall we were very impressed.

Having had one of our family houses rented out for a few years now, with Joplin’s from the first tenant, until the middle of this year, I was initially concerned when our tenancy was moved into the Lindley & Simpson business, particularly as we were right in the middle of a difficult tenant dispute which the Joplin’s team were handling very well for us.I’d just like to say I needn’t have worried as the integration of our account and tenancy situation has slotted very well into the Lindley & Simpson business in all departments from the front facing team in the Ripon office, to the back office Credit control and maintainence teams, which I seem to need regularly with my tenant !!.Three years ago I was on the fence of whether I even needed an estate agent for one house, but being a busy man, and giving the mine field of being a private landlord in the 21st century, when it all goes a bit awry, which EVERY landlord will face at some point, this service is definately worth the money, and I would recommend having Lindley & Simpson managing your property.

We were impressed with Linley and Simpson - Beverley from the start. We went in to register for properties to let and immediately felt at ease. From the start of our journey to us actually getting the keys to our property took just over 5 weeks and we cannot fault the help and support we have been given by all the lovely staff in this branch and the team at the head office. We would, without any hesitation, recommend using Linley and Simpson but hopefully we will not have to use them any time soon as we absolutely love our new home.
