Linley and simpson has done a great service for me since I called them to say that I am looking for a property. They are amazing.So polite and well behaved. Although I am newly arrival in the uk, but I am feeling they are my family. They did their best to find a proper property which suits my family and I. They are so caring and understanding. Move from London to Sheffield

Moving at the very best of times is stressful but to move from a home and area (Clapham, London) you absolutely loved to South Yorkshire to be nearer family was added anxiety. Dealing with Zak was a dream; superb communication throughout the process. Alix was super helpful - initially in allowing us to view the property we were buying at short notice, multiple times. Later in the purchase Alix really helped speed things up by acting as a go between, between us and the seller - unlocking issues and shortening the time it took to purchase. I´m an expat and I´ve been working with Linley & Simpson since I was living overseas, and they helped to find my first house in the UK even before I arrived. Now, that I decided to move to another location and with a short notice, it was them again that helped find my new house. All the team is very professional and friendly, but I would like to give a shout out to Grant, who always walked the extra mile and that only rested when he was sure I had the house I wanted and needed in a very short time. The process of selling our house was made easy by Lindley & Simpson Our advisor Kieran was very friendly and knowledgeable. He talked us through everything we needed to know and delivered on e everything he said he'd do. Fees were very reasonable. The brochure for our house was well written, highlighting all it's best features. We sold quickly and for above the asking price.

False information shared in listing and zero accountability taken afterwards

There was incorrect information shared on the listing we ended up signing for. Linley & Simpson advertised the property as being in council tax band A when it was actually in band B. What made this worse was the response we received from a member of the team when we queried it. No accountability or apology was given, the agent said that the original listing was created a number of years ago and it wasn’t their job to check that the information in it was up to date before reposting. This careless behaviour and lack of attention means that me and my partner have signed a lease which is costing us more money than we thought it would. As I say, the worst part was the complete lack of accountability from Linley & Simpson afterwards.

The extension of our tenants lease was handled by Jenny Renick in a very professional manner and we were kept informed of the developments every step of the way.
