Hunters. Kendal.Have no problem recommending this branch. Unfortunately lockdown got in the way. Launch was on Wednesdsy and lockdown Friday which restricted viewing. Kept me well informed as to who was viewing. When I did get a sale dealt with the buyer in no uncertain terms as he was trying to find lots of faults to drive down the price. He didn't succeed! Suzanne Jackson valued my property and was informative and good to deal with as were the rest of the staff in the office dealing with Kendal.

North Somerset’s Best.

I’d just like to thank all the staff at Hunters in North Somerset, Yatton, Portishead and Nailsea offices. They have sold 2 Of our private houses for us in the past 3 Years, and one of our rental properties before that. All Were sold in a matter of days. Of the 2 recent sales the 1st one went through smoothly in 2 months. The second was not quite so good through no fault of Hunters I might add.2nd property sold the 1st day on the market but turned out the lady was telling porkies about her funding so she disappeared after 2 weeks🤬Another Confirmed buyer Within the same week and except for the obvious Covid delays, mainly being unable to sort removals, this time everything went as planned.Many thanks to Richard, Mandy and James for their excellent Professional service and I would strongly recommend Hunters to anyone thinking of selling in the North Somerset area. They know the market in this area so well and really go the extra mile for their clients.

The team at Hunters made our buying and selling a breeze. They secured our dream home and sold ours in a matter of days. Vanessa was wonderful to work with. She took some fab photos for our particulars & secured our new home. Vanessa & Steve were great at showing us round our new property on a few occasions, when family and trades man needed to visit. We always managed to get 2nd/3rd viewings book within a couple of days. Sasha and Becky in the office kept me updated regularly and communication was second to none. The lady who showed potential buyers around our home was great too, even though only 4 sets of people viewed, we sold that day. She was very professional and communicated really well. We were thinking of using a lower commissioned independent/ online estate agents, but so glad we didn't. Yes you may pay a little more with Hunters, but it is worth it when securing your forever home. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much!

I recently used this service to find a new tenant for a 3 bed property. In the challenging times we are in I was anxious to have everything in order and find a good tenant without meeting a lot of people. Charlotte from Hunters organised this very professionally, advising me on rent and advertising. The property was let very quickly - no sooner had I finished decorating than my lovely new tenants moved in. I was warned by my colleagues about the difficulties that people face while looking for a rental property in York. I spent almost a month and a half to finally find a suitable place and get it. I must say that Hunters has been a major partner of my house-searching journey. They were quite transparent about the competitive market from the beginning but they also always provided helpful advice to me. I found their staff (Sophie) to be very helpful and honest at every stage of the process. The application process was very simple - just a phonecall with their staff who filled the form on my behalf. Their portal for accessing and signing paperwork is also quite efficient. Overall, their service is quite prompt and sincere. I feel highly satisfied and thankful!

Dishonest, incompetent and terrible attitude

Should you choose this letting agents here are a few things you can expect as routine:1) Lying about the status of properties on the market and deliberately misleading all parties on the status of such properties.2) Arranging appointments to view properties that they don't even turn up to meet you at.3) Cocky, arrogant and sarcastic customer service. They really do not care AT ALL!Literally the worst letting agent you could ever choose to instruct. As you can see from the other reviews, dishonesty, incompetence and terrible staff attitudes are a feature. There is a reason for that. Be warned.

Condescending, rude and just arrogant

Well what can I say, house came on the market Friday, sent a email requesting a virtual viewing Friday evening, as we are relocating from overseas. I then get a email from Charlotte on Saturday morning saying we are fully booked…. I reply saying how can you be fully booked for a virtual viewing? ….Surely you are there showing people around so how hard would it have been to have WhatsApp me for 5 mins to walk around the house between viewings. What response did I get … nothing not even an acknowledgment! Totally ghosted. This just shows the contempt these guys hold for potential tenants. Funny as I lived in York over 10yrs ago and hunters were the agent to avoid, seems to me nothing has changed Avoid these clowns at all costs and if you have the misfortune to have to deal with Charlotte well good luck.

When ever someone requires a service for whatever it is, you would always expect to be looked after, get great value for money and mostly be guided and be able to trust who you using. With Hunters you get all the above. They make selling and buying properties so much easier and take the stress away that you can always do without. We have dealt with Hunters on a few occasions now and it's always the same fantastic service.
