We viewed a property that was for sale…

We viewed a property that was for sale with Micheal Poole on December 30th 2025 and made an offer via email on the 30th. Although the office was closed on the 31st the office manager rang me from home. The offer was accepted. Though out the whole process Marian Gilhooly constantly kept in touch with updates. She was supportive, encouraging when things slowed down and incredibly helpful and professional. I don’t think that anything was too much trouble for her , she simply could not do enough for us. We are looking forward to receiving the keys to our new home next week and also looking forward to seeing Marian again.

Consistent communication and fast sale transaction

I had the pleasure of having Tom McCaffrey and Ruby Townsend help me throughout the sale of my property. Their communication was excellent, making sure I was receiving updates with every step of the process, and they found me a buyer for the exact price I wanted very quickly. As I was unable to travel to the property due to busy schedule and personal reasons, the Michael Poole Team took care of everything on my behalf, making sure I received pictures I needed for the documentation process, doing the viewings, and providing the keys to the new landlord and going above and beyond anything I needed guidance or support on. My experience with the Michael Poole team has been excellent and I can only thank them for everything, highly recommend them.

From start to finish our house sale was completed in one month!! 24 January 2022 house on market; 10 viewings arranged for that week; offer submitted on 25 Jan; once viewings had been completed we accepted the full asking price offer; buyers wanted to move fast and we completed and moved out on 24 February 2022. Absolutely amazed at how easy it was. We have bought and sold houses before but we have never sold a house or moved as fast as we did this time!! Gill kept us informed every step of the way. It was nice to hear her friendly voice on the other end of the line, she was always professional and positive, keeping us in the loop and making us feel confident that we were always up to date on our house sale. Despite a tumultuous and undulating journey with buyers, sellers and solicitors we were helped by Gill and the team to complete both sides in very competitive and testing times. A highly professional and friendly company that really make a difference and care. Throughout the purchase of our new property MP were fantastic. We hit stumbling blocks with the solicitors and sellers a few times which was extremely stressful, but every time we spoke to MP we had a friendly voice and additional support. The relationship we created seemed to get the issues resolved quicker and this can not be understated. During our issues, due to incomplete signing off of work in 2011, we asked for a visit to go into the house and measure up. They were more than welcoming and we managed to visit the following day... that shows the service you get. Thank you Nick for all the communication and chasing. Thank you Derek for the visit to measure up. Thank you Gill for getting the white goods and rubbish removed during the mortgage delay. If you are thinking of selling i would recommend MP as the agents to use as my purchase experience was second to none. They act as an intermediary all the way and support both sides in a stressful process. It is the small things such as meter readings, updates, viewings, etc that count and MP deliver.

This is the worst agent

This is the worst agent I have ever worked with. Supposedly acting for us, this estate agent, I feel, was dishonest and misleading….protecting a chain to our detriment (not informing us that they had the entire chain) . Ill advising and recommending that we fund unnecessary surveys and ,I suspect , sharing privileged information to prospective buyers. In my opinion they were unprofessional, dishonest, bad communicators and the only agent I have ever known to charge for photographs and their own failures!

Stacey and Leanne were so supportive on the sale of our property. It wasn't always the smoothest with the various hurdles that we needed to get through, but the support of the MP team was hugely appreciated throughout.
