My partner and I recently completed on a flat with Jacobs Steel - the process end to end took around 8 months (ahhhhh!!) but throughout that whole process we weren't made to feel annoying when asking for updates regularly (though i am sure they don't miss us calling!), we always had someone on the line that was super friendly and always willing to help, and we were kept in the loop always. Neil Simmons in particular was an excellent and honest communicator and we're both really glad to have been dealt with by him primarily, and the rest of the team in West Worthing otherwise. Although the experience was stressful and long, it did make it feel easier having Jacobs Steel as the estate agent dealing with our purchase. We would definitely use their services in the future. I cannot praise Jacob's Steel highly enough. I don't live locally but Lucy and her team organised everything on my behalf from the original valuation to the sale completion. The property was checked on for me so I felt it was in safe hands. I was kept fully informed about viewings and feedback from viewers by Lucy and Amy. I really appreciated the frequent updates from Lucy once an offer was accepted, in fact she kept me more up to date than the conveyancing solicitor. Lucy, Amy and the rest of the team at Goring Road branch were absolutely superb during the process of us selling our flat and moving up the ladder to our new house. At times the process was very rocky (exceptionally difficult buyers) but the team kept us in the loop all the way through the process. Lucy was fantastic she really took the time to establish what we wanted in a home (and it felt like we knew her for years), we had placed an offer on a do-er upper with another Jacob Steele branch, but as an off chance Lucy was valuing another home and instantly thought of us.. we instantly fell in love with it and placed the offer.......and I happily write this glowing review from the comfort of all of Lucy & the team's hard work. Four years ago we purchased a property through Jacobs Steel and they were extremely helpful and the managing director of the Goring Road branch we were using - Pat Barton - put himself out to help us complete the purchase. So when it came to selling that same property we went back to them and were glad we did. Having got embroiled in a very long chain our Branch Manager Lucy Fleming was relentless in chasing other estate agents and solicitors to ensure the sale went through on time. I should add that had it been left to other agents in the chain then the sale would probably still be waiting to complete. We won't be moving again for a very long time (hopefully), but should circumstances change, I wouldn't hesitate in choosing them once again.

I cannot recommend Jacobs steel enough. Amy and Ross were great from start to finish. As first time buyers we were a bit unsure of the buying process but Amy and Ross helped us with everything.
