I never leave reviews but I felt like I had to after today's experience. I was about 15mins late to a 9:30 viewing (my bad, fair enough) and caught the rep just in time to have a speed through the house. She said that she had to rush off to other viewings in Worthing and we noticed that she was scheduled to show me around another place at 10:30 and had a bit of a laugh about it. Roll around to 10:30 and my girlfriend and I have been waiting for 10 minutes already at the property. At 10:50, I called the Southwick office by accident and they said that they would try to get through for me and see what was happening. After some more waiting, I called the Southwick office again who explained that it was supposed to be the homeowner to show me around according to their system. My email confirmation clearly stated a representative, but whatever - we rang the bell. There was no answer, so we knocked on the door a couple of times as well. Evidently, the homeowner wasn't in. I called them later and they tried to blame me and tell me that she was there! No apologies or anything, just a blunt, accusatory tone.

It was stressful experience. Your information will be shared between mortgage advisor and eatate agent, and then the deal will be withdrawn in order to bring the price of the property up to a maximum they aware you can afford. Then they will “forget” to inform you that your sales progressor is off sick for three months and there is nobody else dealing with your purchase. Also when the sales progressor will come back, they will start stress you out will all papers to be ready yesterday. And if your mortgage offer just expired while being in the deal, then will request your new one to be ready now. And while them being aware that your mortgage is with bank and waiting for confirmation, they will sneakely put property back on the market without informing you about it. Once you randomly find this out, they will “reassure” you that there are no viewings booked for this property. And your purchase might take 7 months to be completed. If I could give them 0 star, I would, but sadly there is no such an option.

We (family), used the West Worthing branch of Cubitt & West for the sale of our late mother’s house. From the initial valuation for probate purposes up to the house sale being completed, we found working with them a seamless and stress free experience. They recommended using the Modern method of auction as the success rate for completing the sale is so high, compared to the traditional way of selling where sales regularly fall through prior to exchange. Although this selling method is not for everyone, it was ideal for what we wanted to achieve, as the buyer has to put down a non refundable deposit once their offer is accepted, which also covered our estate agent fees. We were very impressed with the marketing of the house by Cubitt & West and the fact they organised and attended all the viewings for us as we were not local to the area. We were kept updated after each viewing took place and provided with feedback from the prospective buyers, this was done via email, telephone call and the use of an online Dashboard set up for us by the branch. We thoroughly recommend the services of Kevin and the rest of the team at the West Worthing branch of Cubitt & West, who we all found to be friendly, helpful and very efficient.

The selection of properties is close to my liking, as for their recommendations through the email service is very close to what I am looking for, in other words the staff is quite perceptive to clients’ needs. Friendly, flexible and very helpful staff. One doesn’t feel under pressure while viewing property and the staff makes every effort to feel at ease. Although this review is for viewing service and I am pretty sure they will get me the same service if buying a property. I feel I should give credit for the very good customer-focus service to individual staff in particular Ms Kate Hart and Mr John Dale.

Im a tenant for ANOTHER lettings and these people were given my mobile number and just keep harrasing me daily to set up viewings because the landlord is selling with them. This landlord is getting us to move out due to selling and thats all good. We were given enough notice to seek another place but this company phones me like 3 times within an hour to book viewings for people coming to buy, we move out in a month and the landlord refused us to leave earlier which caused us to miss out on an apartment which would have been perfect great not willing to do us a favour why should we do him one, considering his decision has cost me a months pay. They told me when i said im im too busy to have viewings over the next two weeks due to having to pack up that "it wasnt good enough" and they need to book viewings sooner. Its not my job to ensure your allowed to visit the place we pay for privacy and comfort. I also dont owe the landlord jack. Learn to be much more polite and meaningful to potential customers. Will never deal with this agency personally.

We bought a property through cubit & west goring agents, offered in August did not complete till end of the eprember, the entire time we wer under the impression that the flat above was a rental with a single occupant, being a share of freehold this sold us the flat as we would have control if they wer noise issues (my partner has epilepsy) imagine our surprise when we move in (to a gas leak also) that it's a young couple living up there who bought the flat in July before we had even made an offer. Through our entire purchase we had the wrong information and would not have bought the property if we had known it had a young couple as owners so flat is back on the market (thanks for wasting our time and a whole lot of money)
