I went to Cubitt and West with my son who was about to take a tenancy for the first time. We were met by Ryan Winn who explained the whole process from beginning to end. He was very patient and made sure my son and I understood all aspects of the contract. Ryan met with us at the property 3 times whilst we decided if this flat was the right one for a first time tenant. We were given extra advice and guidance when we needed it and Ryan was able to reflect on the first time he took on property and pass on some of that experience to my son. All-in-all the whole experience was very positive and friendly. I am sure we will use Cubitt and West again in the future.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Luke at Cubitt & West and I must say, he went above and beyond every when I got in touch. He was polite, friendly and very helpful, organising appointments and meetings that really helped explain and clarify things as a first time buyer. He kept in touch with updates and was quick to reply to my messages and was just generally great to have as a point of contact. The rest of the Goring team were very responsive to my emails and always had time if I called through, and even though I ended up purchasing elsewhere, they were all genuinely pleased and excited for me. I bought a property through cubitt and west last year. It is safe to say moving forward if I wanted to move I would not consider using this branch again. Mel’s customer service was horrendous to say the least. Every time I spoke to her she was extremely patronising and acted as if I was asking her to move mountains, when I was enquiring about simple things throughout this very stressful process. This was my first purchase which was supposed to be an exciting process, Mel made it impossible to enjoy any part of this. I dreaded having to call the office as I knew I was going to met with a bad attitude and lack of information. I can not explain how unwelcome I felt and how disappointed I was with the process. Even from the very first call when she was questioning my age and whether I actually had a deposit, it was a disgrace. I saw that Mel had a number of awards in the window and quite frankly if the level of service I received is her standard, then I’m baffled on how she managed that.
