Mayfair we’re really helpful from start to finish. We had lots of complications with the solicitors and issues with responses from solicitors. Becky responded to any questions quickly, she was friendly and very supportive in helping us get our home as it was close to falling through, without her being the person in the middle pushing on both sides I don’t believe it would’ve gone through so very lucky to have had Becky fighting our corner! Highly recommended!

My initial experience with Sam (the manager of Worle branch) was very positive. However, once I had submitted a bid for a property, I had no further contact with him until I collected the keys 3 months later. Instead, I was passed to Lauren who was very abrupt and rude over the phone on multiple occasions. She would often not return call within a reasonable time frame and refused to confirm updates via email. This was extremely frustrating as I was under the impression that she considered our sellers her “friends” and treated myself as second rate. Lauren led us to believe that we would be able to exchange contracts by a certain date but it took place three weeks later, and matters would only progress if we were continuously chasing. On the day of completion I was told by my solicitor that keys would be with Mayfair by 1pm. When I rang to enquire about this, I was told by Lauren and Becky that they have never heard of a “deadline to hand over keys” and that “they do this everyday unlike me”. To summarise, what I thought was an upmarket estate agency, turned out to be very rude and unprofessional. I would not choose to use this service.

To cut a long story short they are very polite over the phone or in person but never call back . Never relay messages to each other so I had to explain everything to each person I spoke to. I didnt buy from them in the end due to some issues involving the property . What really got My back up is they knew about some of the issues but I wasn't told about them when I went to view . I understand they just want the sale and to get paid .
