I found Lee, Zoe and the team fab. We discussed pricing at length because it was a hard house to value. Because I wasn’t in a rush we went for a higher figure. It sold within 7 days. Lee and Zoe protected my interests when the buyers started faffing about. They dealt with all of the viewings and got the paperwork sorted for me. Their commission was fair rate. I’d certainly use them to sell again.

What an absolute DISGRACE! Genuine sellers/buyers do not EVER use this agency. After 5+ months of waiting on a property with almost all paperwork’s completed we were told at last minute by our solicitor that the vendor no longer wishes to proceed with the sale under some “personal circumstances”. This was exactly 7 days prior to the exchange of contract. The agency had no decency to let us know about this shocking news. 5 months of effort, time and money wasted with this agency. Matthew Cole acted only in favour of the vendor all throughout with this sale and at one point he was pestering us to sign the contract to give his “agency and vendor a peace of mind” when we told him about planned trip aboard. He then called us numerous times on the same day and next day with lame excuses to purposely delay the sale and his reasoning was that “the vendor is not ready”. Matthew knew every move of the vendor with this sale but he acted so surprised that apparently, he did not know that the vendor had pulled out of the sale. Funny!! Because the guy who answered my call prior to Matthew seemed to know something about the matter but not him. Matthew and the vendor together played a very dirty game costing us a very stressful time and we are now left with less than 3 weeks to find another place to live. We were already once forced to extend of tenancy agreement because of the unnecessary delay from the vendor. We never been able to trust Shelton and Lines with the amount of lies they told us and now they almost made us homeless too. Only 2 weeks ago we visited the property to take measurements of rooms and ordered furniture (which are due in 2 weeks’ time), the vendor was present at the property just before we got in but had no decency to inform us that the sale will not happen. The vendor and the agency have made a complete mockery of this sale. This sudden “personal circumstance” is nothing but an utter lie to pull last minute. The seller and agency were clever to use such excuse as they knew no more questions will be asked. Our money wasted on property evaluation, solicitor fees and furniture. Matthew promised to pay us back 480 pounds “the property reservation fee” and not received. Genuine buyers don’t waste your time with this crappy agency not WORTH your time. Also, any unnecessary delays ever to experience from seller’s side beware that the seller is a CHEAT!

Wish that I could give them zero. Emailed them to let them know that I was unable to communicate via the phone as I'm hard of hearing, originally this seemed okay. I had enquired about one property which was ignored, the got my details from me and that was that. No mention of the property (If it had been sold then at least mention this) and then said if I found anything I like then to call their office, I had already mentioned my deafness and I had already contacted about a property in which they never even brought up so what's the point? Don't think I'll be using again.

We used Shelton and Lines to sell our first property. As advised by family we obtained 3 quotations from different agents. The values varied greatly. We chose Shelton and Lines as we felt their marketing was much better than their competitors. Lee initially came and did the valuation which we were very happy with and then came to photograph our house and we were so happy with the photography. They also produced a filmed tour for our property which again was professionally produced. From start to finish we really felt our home was in safe hands, when our buyers had a survey and looked to get money knocked off we felt we were given the best advice and truth be told if it wasn’t for their expertise we would have knocked more off the sale price to get the sale through. Our only gripe was that by moving out of the area we couldn’t use them to buy our next house.

As a first time buyer and had been looking for my first apartment we had lots of experience of viewing properties with most agents within Worcester.  I have to say we found the service with Shelton and Lines considerably better than our experience of most of the others.  Some agents didn’t even turn up for viewings we had booked.  We also made use of their mortgage services which we found very helpful and easy to use.  The service wasn’t forced on us like some agents tried to do and we really felt like they worked in our best interest.  Once our offer had been accepted we found all of the staff at the office extremely helpful whether it was organising survey and help completing the solicitor paperwork.  We have no doubt that when we come to sell in the future we would have no hesitation in using their services.
