Our chain wanted a quick process which meant a lot of chasing solicitors, I do feel like this is where freeagent lacked a little with communication but other than that I would recommend from a sellers perspective. FacebookAbsolutely shocking. We’ve just completed on a property being sold through FreeAgents247 & I will never buy a property through them again. Communication has been dismal from the very beginning. I was constantly chasing the estate agents for replies regarding queries I had. They were never on time when we’d arranged to meet them at the property or when we booked to have the house surveyed. It eventually got to the point where the founder of FreeAgents247 took over the buy & at first his communication seemed better. But how wrong was I! Towards the end he managed to miss our solicitors off the email thread so we weren’t made aware of the proposed exchanged & completion dates.. this putting us a little behind everyone else in the chain. Regardless of this we did everything in our power to get back upto speed, despite the fact it wasn’t our cock up. I had Dan (the founder) hounding me multiple times a day regardless of the fact I was giving him prompt updates as were my solicitors. His badgering eventually got to the point where MY solicitors were apologising on his behalf.. I will be taking this complaint further. As I’m absolutely appalled with the whole situation. This company have made our experience of buying a property complete hell.

What turned into a very convoluted sale, with leasehold issues, Gerard managed the purchaser with good grace the endeavour of a true gentleman. From initial contact, staging of the property for marketing, media and the sale, free agent were top of the class. Bravo to Gerard!

Who would have thought that such a simple cash sale, no chain, could really take 7 months to complete.
