Really frustrating and disappointing experience with this agency. Although our dealings with them as a letting agent were pleasant throughout our tenancy, we are extremely shocked at how the return of our deposit was dealt with. The agent has put a case forward to the TDS which is likely to take 3 months to be resolved. They are therefore holding £900 of our money. The most frustrating thing about this is that the reasons for the deductions are unjustified and unfair. We had the house professionally cleaned at the end of our tenancy, and the only noted differences on the inventory were a few weeds and a couple of picture hooks. We were then advised by the agent that we had to pay for the whole house to be redecorated. This letting agent should know better, and should not just stand by their mean landlord just because the landlord pays their 'management fee'. Charging a tenant to redecorate a whole house, on the basis that they put up a few picture hooks is absolutely disgusting. We also experienced really unfair unreasonable treatment by the landlord through the tenancy, that again the agent over looked. Overall disappointing.

Can not speak highly enough about Abode! Simply Brilliant. I had an absolute nightmare of selling my house. Multiple buyers dropped out for various reasons and Richard and Lee from Abode were very helpful. They always kept me informed and were determined to get a deal completed for me to ensure the house i had purchased didn't fall through as well.
