A massive thanks to Connells of Wolverhampton. I have been dealing with Lee Cooke who has been amazing. It is like people say "moving house is one of the most stressful things that you will do" Without the help of Lee I really don't think that we would have moved house, right from the start I was kept up to date with everything but the main point was that Lee always returned calls and not only during work time on many occasions it was late in the day. Our buyer used Connell to sell there house. Seemed to be going fine until a week before contracts was supposed to be exchanged. We found out his buyer didn’t have the deposit in place to exchange. I don’t know why Jackie from Connells never picked up on this when they first had offer in. They obviously aren’t doing there checks properly, because of all this we have now lost our house we was buying because the builders are not prepared to wait any longer. If I was anybody putting there house up for sale DONT USE CONNEL’S Even our buyer is now going to use somebody else to sell his house as they have had enough of them. Very unprofessional in my eyes and reading some reviews it’s not the first time this has happened..

As a key worker that has just moved from London to resume work at New Cross Hospital Wolverhampton, I was somewhat stranded trying to get a definitive place to stay. I have just bought my first buy to let property which I have now let with the help of Connells Wolverhampton. I was helped through the process by the lovely Aisha. She was extremely professional, was always able to answer my questions and allay my concerns. Her particular strength is in not being a pushy salesperson but is able to gain your trust through her quiet confidence and reassurance that she would be able to carry out the task in hand ie. find a suitable tenant; which she did within 24 hours of instruction! Not straight forward people went for a viewing for a property after days of going back and forth a member said to me they waiting for the landlord to sign off on some documents then we can discuss move in date after about two days we were told we cant get the property as my partner isn't earning enough when affordability was the first thing they checked before going through with the paperwork and they said it was fine. Then we told them our credit history wasnt great n they said as long as we are honest on the application form we should be fine which was a lie when we called the people who did the reference they told us they had done the reference and it was up to the estate agents whether they accepted us or not when I called in they said it was the reference people that made that decision . Then they wanted to do a reference on me when I obviously dont work and I'm pregnant which I allowed. At the end of the day we didn't get the place after all the confusion they cost us. But that wasn't even the worse bit a week after we lost the property me and my husband got a email that some using my husbands bank details had taken out phone ,broadband, and a sim card out in my husband name and guess what this persons address was? It was the same address of the place we lost of apparently someone moving into that address thought it was ok to pretend he was my husband and take out broadband, TV, and phones services out to set up in that property. It took us ages to get it sorted when we called the estate agents they seem to have no clue how it happened so we now had to report the estate agents, virgin media, and the man to the fraud department with the police case still pending.

We used Connells after using other estate agents in wolverhampton and they were far more professional and actually went to extended lengths to ensure the smooth sale of our property. We gained plenty of interest in the house based on their marketing and although the sales team are a little fake as they are all looking for a sale/ commission (only real criticism) once the sale had been agreed, recieved brilliant service from Jackie in sales progression. She went above and beyond to help both us (sellers) and buyers. Would recommend this estate agent above others and would defiantly go back.
