If I could give them 0 stars I would. Caversham branch are so unhelpful, rude and treat tenants like scum. Avoid at all costs. With all the bad reviews I’m wonder why the head office don’t do something to sort it out ! They charge for damages and cleaning that’s non existent and then won’t give you a full breakdown of costs . I will never ever ever deal with them again !!

GoogleHad nothing but problems with the lettings team since we took on our tenancy 2 years ago. Even complaining to the MD didn't get me anywhere! Would not recommend any landlords use them! Use other local companies if you want a great service

Over two weeks from my landlady notifying Romans to release my deposit after the end of my tenancy and still waitingfir it to be returned. All the excuses being used to justify this. Will be taking this case to the Ombudsman. Typical greedy estate agents. Avoid this company like the plague.

Horrible service. Romans doesn't conduct its business with its tenants best interest in mind. It is all about money. After renting a property with them I feel that I was only being used. They have failed me several times in particular by sending the wrong documents and trying to charge me more than agreed. I have been renting for a few years now and Romans is by far the worst agency I have dealt with.

A terrible dishonest company so far. Arranged for a viewing. Agent said on phone, fine. Date and Time scheduled. Got off work early for viewing. Email them to confirm. No response, no reply. Called them, no one is picking up. Showed up. No one is here. Lazy staff, bad company and pretty much disgusting people. Would advise no one to do business with them. You don't even deserve a 1 star.

GoogleI am delighted with the help and service I had from all of these lovely guys Adam, Michael, Jack and Dan. Found me a property after having seen many. Even took me to see them in there own cars which was very much appreciated which is not in there remit. Cant thank them enough. Have to say they still helping me with questions I have even though the sale and purchase has been agreed.

Terrible service. You can never speak to anyone. They are only interested in the money. They charge a fortune in tenant fees and extra for "check-in" that they subcontract out at your expense. They need to be chased constantly to get anything done. Very rarely get worked up by bad companies but this one has been one of the worse, despite all their advertising and email saying how caring and efficient they are. Avoid.
