Dan is a unique and fantastic estate agent, he is wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Dan, he is not like other estate agents he is extremely professional, hard working and goes above and beyond for his clients. He helped us to sell our house while we were out of the country. His communication skills were excellent, he always responded to calls and messages very quickly and called us constantly to keep us updated about everything. It was brilliant to only work with him and not have to leave messages with other staff members, this was especially important to us because of the time difference and Dan was always aware of this and kept us updated constantly. He took control of the entire sales process from start to finish and really helped to ease the stress by making sure the sale progressed quickly and kept us informed every step of the way. He also made sure the chain progressed and kept in communication with our buyers and the buyers below on the chain to ensure that everyone was happy. This was so important to us because we were not in the country and he really took the stress and worry out of the entire process. Dan is definitely the best estate agent that we have ever used and if you want a smooth and stress-free sale you should 100% use him.

All the staff were extremely helpful and responsive to anything I wanted to ask or find out about the purchase and nothing seemed too much trouble. Update: 22/08/2022. I eventually received my rent, 8 days late. The Director was unable to provide a satisfactory reason why the payment was missed by the Lettings and Finance team - blaming a 'computer glitch' in the diary system. I’m a landlord that uses David Cliff as the property management company and for rent collect Unfortunately, the service I’ve received is underwhelming. I should have noted the red flag when the disorganised office sent tenancy contracts for signing at 5am of the morning of the tenant moving in. A company, that found a tenant before the property was officially listed, managed to waste three weeks and not provide a copy of their standard template contract. Most seriously, On TWO occasions in the last six months (April and August) I have received my rent LATE, not because of the tenant, because David Cliff has had accounts staff away on annual leave and didn’t think to organise any cover. No notification that it was going to be late, and no apology when it happened. The lettings team in the office are unhelpful and seem to be unaware of anything that’s going wrong, I was told ‘well, we are short staffed so these things sometimes happen’. During my escalation it appears there’s a fair amount of buck-passing that happens between the office/accounts team, the lettings manager, and the owner. So far, I’ve felt the responses are tardy and nobody knows what’s going on, that includes the Director, David. I’ll update this review if and when a resolution is offered on the persistent delayed payments from DC. FYI to landlords - Avoid using this agent for rent collect. Their archaic banking practices mean that it takes one working day for inward payments from tenants to clear, then three working days for your payment to clear. Assuming there’s someone to actually process your payment on time, you’ll still wait an entire working week from rent payment day to receive cleared funds in your account. It’s 2022, Faster Payments are a thing.
