I was planning to buy a 1 bed flat in Horsell, Woking. Seymours gave me wrong information about the build year. At the viewing the estate agent said the building was built in 1997, and it turned out it was built in 1958. The whole process was slow. I had to wait 5 months for the documents, and at the end from a H&S document I found out that asbestos may be present in the building. The asbestos survey found asbestos in the flat, and so here I am after 5 months, 2500 GBP shorter (moving costs, legal cost, searches, mortgage broker fee), and I had to withdraw. I made an offer in early July, I got the documents in mid November. If I would have got the documents earlier, I would not have moved out from my old place (which I had been renting). If I would have got the correct information about the build year, I would not have make an offer / start the process.
